Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Synairgen will have it's day, and very soon too.
I'm not sure what's more annoying as an investor here; that there's overwhelming support for the greatness of this product, and it should've been given EUA months ago and given the recognition it deserves?
Or that other treatments that show a faction of the efficacy of SNG001 hog the limelight?
At the end of the day, more people have died from some form of viral lung infection (covid, copd, asthma etc.) that needn't have, and that's the worst thing.
Jfc, it really beggars belief the amount of people who pay so much attention to prolific derampers/idiots.
Just filter them and grow up!
A little bit unrelated now, but this is what I believe will happen over the next 3-4 months and act as catalysts for positive SP movement;
1) Activ2 Progression to P3
2) Final patient dosed RNS (presentation: november)
3) P3 trial data (presentation: January)
4) EUA/Government support/orders
It doesn't really matter what happens between now and January-ish, as I believe the SP will be at least £3 on P3 results day ????????
Stu, I'd imagine that production will start at the end of this year and into 2022 and beyond.
The treatment has a shelf-life of 5 years in deep freeze, so your question doesn't make any real sense to me?
For what I know, I'd say it's because history has shown us that whenever big pharma talk, the masses listen - albeit to their own detriment further down the line. Governments around the world like the word 'cheap', so if someone comes along with the next 'wonder drug' that can be bought on the cheap, it'll get bought regardless of it's efficacy or even safety. Between that point, and big pharma having the cash to grease the right wheels, you can see why they're able to stop a trial early and push this new crud out.
You watch, people will be kicking off about this molnupiravir in several months time after it starts getting dished out, and it's continued efficacy and safety will be brought into question only after several million people have taken it. Remdesivir and Ivermectin come to mind straight away.
Ayyy, all the derampers are back! That's got to be a good sign ;)
I'm not sure whether it's already been mentioned, but maybe this whole analyst thing could be to review long covid data? I know the company were looking into that, but I'm not sure when that data might be ready.
It depends on the definition of 'significant progression' to be honest.
I'd say there's at least 2 events, hopefully within the next 3 months, that'll serve as catalysts for the SP - Activ2 news and P3 results. There could of course be other things such as pre-orders at any time, or regular orders after P3 news drops.
Either way, I'm excited for what the future holds and don't think the SP will languish at this level for too much longer.
I'd also like to thank the people who've sold out, and allowed me to get another bunch of shares at a nice discount this morning. News is so close I can taste it, and I look forward to the months ahead!
And the point of this is what, exactly?
More frequent posters on this board will recognise that a large majority of those names (if not all, I mean, I don't live on here) are excellent researchers who contribute a great deal to this board, but if sharing great research into a stock now makes you a ramper then yeah, I guess they are.
My mistake Kevin, once it got into abusive territory I did skim past the conversation and went on the original topic headline and your first message. You're right in that sense though, it doesn't take much for insults to start flying and it's usually unnecessary - this bb can be like a coiled spring a lot of the time.
Remember the last time people were begging for an RNS and the company seemingly obliged and released one shortly after? Remember the effect that had on the share price? If the answer is "yes" to both of those questions, you'll do like the majority of us are doing and wait patiently if you've done your DD on this stock.
Ever since Friday's RNS regarding Polygon doubling their stake, it's given me the final bit of confidence (not that I needed that much more confidence anyway) that this is a good thing to be involved in. 17.9% of Synairgen's share capital is now with institutions, I'm not entirely sure about total director shareholding percentage, but it goes to show that the big money people are feathering their nests for the events to come.
LTH's are just waiting patiently for that blistering RNS to eventually land, as always.
Welcome to any newbies that have acquired shares recently :D
Woodstock; As someone who voted for Boris, lest I'm ever able to forget doing so, it does seem like a strong ask to find a decent politician in this day and age. I'd consider myself to be Conservative-leaning ever since the mention of Brexit, as I wanted this country to regain it's sovereignty and not be under the EU's feet (which is how it felt imo.) That said, I would be intrigued to see what steps Starmer would've taken if he were in power, as he seems to condemn all the stupid decisions that Boris has made and continues to make. And whilst it's his job as the opposition to do just that, I've found myself in agreement of a lot of his statements as late.
It's good to see that there's been a U-turn now though with isolation, Andy, but you're completely right otherwise.
Roll on next election, and get these clowns/crooks out.
It is annoying to see what this board has become, having been an investor since December when this board was a treasure trove filled with great discussion spanning 400+ posts a day. Whilst a few remain here, a lot of the other LTH are either waiting for significant developments to return, or have found other boards to discuss and read up about Synairgen in the mean-time.
But rest assured, we're still around ;-)
You've misinterpreted my post, Kevin, I was being sarcastic. Boris and his band of merry men have made a total hash of this from the beginning, and continue to mess up royally even now.
I feel incredibly sorry for all those affected by this disease in whatever sense, and I'm incredibly annoyed at this government for pushing ahead and unlocking everything - it shows no consideration for anyone.
With the rate it's going, I bet we'll see 100k by about the 25th.
But... With support from the Government now coming to a close (i.e legal mask wearing, not working from home) people have got no choice but to deal with it. Way to go, Boris!
Gold, a buyout at this point would be too premature. Let the company continue doing the good work they do and add a 5x multiplier before any talk of a buyout starts, eh?
