When I raised the same issue a little while back, and questioning the governments inaction and underhanded ways during this pandemic, I was criticised stating that the UK is one of the best performing developed countries. It certainly wouldn't kill them to think a little outside the box, rather than vaccine, vaccine, vaccine. Vaccines ARE important - but they're just not the defacto answer to this particular problem.

As for America, the next 100 days will hopefully reveal all. I've just skimmed a few websites and it seems as though Uncle Joe's policies are all just centred around immigration and undoing the damage that Trump has caused during his tenure. Let's hope that, like you say, our faith isn't misplaced and that the US pay attention to us where our own government have failed.

It's so disgusting to see so many deaths! Regardless of my investment here, it's just criminal to see things like this happening daily. There's safe alternatives to vaccines right here, and the powers that be can't see further than the ends of their noses..... Or don't want to.....

But could I get people's views on compiling all the useful news and updates from synairgen, coronavirus, medical bodies and all related stuff all on one web page? I know there's the synairgen reddit, but that doesn't have the update about the Tuesday morning coronavirus briefing where the sng interferon trial was mentioned, for example.

For those in favour, I've got a website that I could make a page on, and just have all interesting reference material on there in one place for potential investors to look at.

Right, back to seriousness. Here's hoping for a decent day tomorrow or a powerful end to the week or both. I'm sure that Uncle Joe will do right by us, his VP and team do seem to think outside of the box unlike Doris and his cronies.

This action at the end of today was just to allow Uncle Polar another chance to get a slice of hot SNG pie for cheap before the craze really kicks off.

@Parsley2. Nah, all UK funds fortunately. They still say it'll take a month, and it's been 3 weeks up to now, hopefully it'll complete next week.

Definitely don't want to miss out when such big news is expected to be right around the corner and could drop at any moment..... Not to be a ramper, or anything ;)

@Parsley2 I'm consolidating a couple of cash ISA's from Nationwide and moving them into stock ones, but they're dragging their heels.

Really wish I could top up, but my transfer is still in progress. This is an absolute steal at this price, at this point in the proceedings!

Like Lynny said, I think you summarised it up perfectly. I wasn't expecting a massive rise, but an increase on such an important day would've been nice all the same. They are a sound investment though, been involved for some time as their dividend payments are reliable and consistent usually and the SP range is typically predictable as well.

I have a feeling that the weight of this special dividend is stopping the SP from moving up further, though, and as we don't yet know the terms of the consolidation, that causes further uncertainty. Just my thoughts and opinions, dyor everyone. It's getting frustrating seeing the same questions asked over and over when the answers are in the RNS's.

I've been thinking about that zoom meeting, and how they addressed my question. Due to my bad research/outdated figures, I asked why they had a 10% stake, when it's actually 3.2 or 3.6 - can't remember.

What's intriguing me now, is that that figure wasn't corrected by the team or the person who answered. So, that either means they might plan to buy more over time, or the guy answering isn't clued up as to their investments.

Well, in my view that was a great trading period for Tesco. I can't help but think that the reduction in sales from Tesco Bank have had an impact on today's news, and resulted in the small drop - or maybe even stopped it from rising? Or am I missing something here?

That wasn't my take on their answer. Whilst it was a very generic answer, with information we already know, it certainly didn't come over as negative in any way.

I've seen some reviews of it already. Critics have said the gameplay is "a breath of fresh air" and that it's surprising how good the game is, considering that it's come from an indie developer and not a massive studio. It's only going to cost £20 as well ;)
