Synairgen has shown us multiple times that it crosses all the T's and dots all the I's. This patent news that's recently been discovered is further proof of that, getting everything lined up perfectly for the big day to eventually come.
The way this company operates, ever humble in their approach when they should really be singing from the rooftops, just gives me a great feeling about my investment. They know they're good, that they don't need to advertise that fact and that everything is going exactly to plan.
We've had a rocky couple of days with the SP, and it's easy to lose your nerve at times like this, but just remember 3 important things;
1) The company is going to deliver at least 2 important pieces of news - activ2 progression and P3 - within the next 4 months I reckon, which will be big catalysts for the share price.
2) Cases are going to go through the roof, especially after this 'freedom' day lark. And if the government are going to push ahead with this unlocking, then synairgen's treatment will be needed as vaccines aren't enough.
3) Don't let derampers and market makers spook you here. I'm eating a heavy loss at the moment, and still feel very comfortable in my investment - they'll have to pry my shares from my cold, dead hands.

*16th August
Furthermore, these new things getting added that I've also seen on sky news. From 18th August, double jabbed and under 18's not needing to isolate after being in contact with a positive person?
How's this for an idea - we all march along to our local ICU, and drag our faces along the floor?! Never thought I'd say this, but I miss Matt Handc.ock.
If history has told me anything with this government and the pandemic, is to exoect things to be worse than what they predict. So when our dear new health minister spouts things like cases could be 100k after restrictions are lifted, it makes me think just how reserved that figure might be;

It's pure madness unlocking everything, and a large part of me believes that the government are just trying a different tactic now because people are bored of lockdowns and having their 'freedom' taken away from them.

Just seen this now, article went live 5 hours ago. Interesting to see that institutions are really piling up on this and see Synairgen for it's future potential like other LTH here - maybe even more so, as they're experts in their field.
Greenfish89, I think you're right there. The whole 'breathlessness' score on the scale who's name escapes me at this point only really came about as a focus point in their home trial results that came out on 30th May. As the latest version of the information leaflet was published on the 12th April, I imagine it's just outdated.
Happy to be corrected by investors who are undoubtedly more knowledgeable than me :D
Thousands are still dying everyday from Covid, despite all the vaccines floating around. People investing here are getting behind one of, if not the best, treatments soon to be available. The amount of competitors that have fallen by the wayside due to ineffectiveness speaks volumes.
Synairgen just needs a little more time to prove itself. Tortoise and the hare.
Of course it will. We saw what happened after Super Mario spoke out, I reckon the reaction will be even better than that, because it'll be an official RNS when it does happen.
God, I hate this government more with each passing day! I don't regret much in life, but I wish I'd never voted for these guys. I love/hate Bojo's audacity in 'declaring matters closed' whenever it suits him.
It can boom all it likes now, just completed my last and final top-up :D
I'd say £3-5 is easily achieveable ultimately - I'd actually be a bit disappointed with anything under £10! Just look at the bigger picture here - you'll have a company with an amazing product, in a sector where billions are thrown around probably every day. You mean to tell me that a big pharma company won't want this weapon in their inventory for this pandemic, or for any other kind of lung diseases? Not a chance.
Spin
Yeah, but Tesco still have a much larger market cap. 5.5b as opposed to our 17.4b. It is a bit of a kicker, though, as I was thinking about buying Morrisons shares back in December when there were ubstantiated rumours of a buyout.
As for the extra valuation - haven't a clue. Morrisons have had either dwindling sales or profits (can't remember which) for the past decade. There's a murmur that it's because they own most of their properties, so if I had to guess then that'd be why.
How long is a piece of string?
Take it from someone who sold out recently and then bought back in 2 days later because of FOMO, this stock is prone to manipulation/deramping, and when either of those parties are out in force it can easily spook PI's who don't know as much as some of the LTH's. Bottom line, the P3 trial result that's due in the second half of this year is the beginning of the 'endgame', after that you've got a strong probability of a takeover. My advice? Monitor the goings on, but largely forget about this until later in the year and hold your nerve.
Phase 3 is expected in the second half of this year, according to the company. But I'm personally expecting it to be around September. You've got Activ2 news that could drop any day now, and I reckon that'll be a big boost for the SP.
Better than the news vacuum of late, I'm incredibly pi*sed off at CB - pumps the stock up to help with the fund raise, and then falls off the face of the earth! The only update from the company was a subpar interview with CB and a couple of members of the board.
My prediction is something good will happen on Monday. So I reckon we'll have a healthy dose of FOMO Friday, with either a long covid or Activ2 RNS update to follow shortly after.
There's not really much to understand where Synairgen and this product are concerned for the layman. Their product will be the most useful helpful treatment in the event of becoming sick - simples. Vaccines will always have a role to play, and like it's already been said numerous times, vaccines and therapeutics like this will need to go hand-in-hand in order to beat this virus.
Do you mean in a way that the numbers aren't accurate? That's more than likely the case, as you'll have asymptomatic carriers, not everyone will get tested and you could also have fake negatives... Or was that last one just with LFT?
