I'm not sure what is supposed to even mean.
Of course it's not a coincidence that the company's taken finance by any means to keep going .
It's cause and effect.
Funders clearly got cold feet after the greensill situation , delaying IM and leaving the company with no choice but to raise funds to carry them to the point of turning a profit and no longer needing the help.

The issue with big institutions such as banks is many SMEs are refused credit due to them being more of a risk .
That's one of the points of syme. To fund companies that banks don't necessarily want to help because of their basic risk assessment protocols.
Much like self employed people find it more difficult to get a mortgage but can go to a mortgage specialist and get one by an independent broker going through the individuals accounts.

The idea is its no longer a case of "computer says no" and more a case of our risk assessment team say yes.

Syme have a different risk assessment process which is tailored to the individual SME and looks past the basic "how far do the books go back" and more into a detail of the companies finance and risk to assess the risk.

We could do a 300m transaction and they will still be here.
Because in order for market makers to make money somebody has to spread fear so easily influenced traders sell on a red day.
