I’m moving money over now to top up this afternoon . Fairly predictable tactics to shake out the fast buck traders and fill some big orders in the background . The news however is just as good as 7am Friday! I’ve not often been so certain of holding on to all my shares in an investment. GLA

Draft: Previously he was right when he said it would drop back to 1.65. More recently he wasn’t proved as right although it did drop back from 3.4 to 2.5. ( quite significant % wise....and a holding RNS or no deal could have easily seen 1.75 or less) Saying that I have no idea what his game is , but I would not be surprised with 12p in 2/3 months time ....and 5.5/6.5 by the end of next week , with a few swings on the way .

Thankyou Dickupham/ Exploration and others for the continuing high quality of posts on this board which is a breath of fresh air at this transformational time for this company, and a marked contrast to the farcical nature of the debate over on advfn. Clearly there is a way to go and work to do , but this is still an extraordinarily positive development for CLNR, but also the whole domestic exploration sector . Shell getting on board to develop new prospects in the North Sea should be something that is seized on and supported politically , and its hard not to see a very strong upside for the share price over the coming months and years . A revised market cap of £50-60 million wouldn’t seem excessive , giving something like 9-11p, and with further licences being worked on and possible future acquisitions in the next round a 25-30p longer range target would not be too far fetched . The froth and churn from small time traders will become insignificant to the share price when serious long term investors start putting their money in here . Exciting times and definitely worth holding on to those shares for the real reward down the line. GLA

Rizzo is an odd one, that's for sure. A bit of light amusement though!

Other than one sell order for 100k @ 5p, which didn't in the end go through as it dropped back before it could be placed, I have the same 1.85 million shares I had this morning and feel very happy not to have been tempted into selling.

If we rewind 24 hrs and remember the downcast and negative posts of many who seemed resigned to no deal or another extension, then one still has to pinch oneself to realise we are now in partnership with SHELL !!

It was inevitable and quite usual for the price to be less explosive than many had hoped, which bodes much well down the line from my point of view. Being £20k up on day one is a good start, but I'm looking for 7.5/8p initially before even thinking of any substantial profit taking. The odd 100k to trade is one thing, and I could have done that today, but was busy on other things. Hopefully a good amount of press and a steady rise through next week, and beyond.

It makes it look more likely those big trades were “worked “ buys earlier in the week. Otherwise there will be a few very unhappy investors! Fantastic news for all of us who held our nerve . It hasn’t always been easy !

Yes.... we had one kat Friday at 7am announcing the week extension , so I am pretty certain the next one will be 7 am tomorrow.

Well it’s going to be after hours, whether 4.30 or 7 am makes not much difference . There hasn’t been any apparent dumping of shares today, in fact surprisingly muted. Perhaps time for a quick top up @2.7p before the bell ;)

They will take all my shares at 2.52..... not that I’m selling any . I sense the MMs think the upside is much more likely than the downside ....

I would guess a mid morning RNS and a press conference to announce a major moment in the revitalisation of the southern North Sea . If he’s got a good deal over the line he’ll make the most of it :) If you’ve kept the faith this long another few hours won’t hurt ;)

Re reading the RNS it does suggest exclusivity will only continue subject to a definitive agreement being reached by the 7th: “Therefore, exclusivity continues to be granted to the Counterparty, subject to a definitive farm out agreement being entered into by 7 February 2019.”

Exclusivity ends today, presumably midnight but realistically the end of the working day , so there is absolutely no point in speculating. Assuming a deal is already done then today will be spent finalising how it goes to press etc. and if there is no deal they will be doing the same . An intra day RNS is possible, but most likely 7 am.
