Good evening.

The rejection of their earlier appeal on the auction was made at the beginning of December (RNS 3rd Dec 2018), and originally they (CLP) had 60 days to appeal, and on the 1st Feb it was announced they infect had 6 months to appeal (form the original date of around 3rd Dec). They have not, as yet, let us know if they have lodged an appeal, so we have to assume that they have not, although their lawyers have been instructed to do so. So 3rd June is the latest they can lodge an appeal, although I expect it will be announced sooner than that. But when it might be heard is anyone's guess!

Maybe any deal on Ondaland is tied in with having the land clearly assigned to CLP, rather than just a cash payment as currently stands. Although if so you would think an appeal would have been lodged 3 months ago.

You are quite right KnigelK and also I respect your comments earlier Jandtw1. It’s all too easy to get into pointless debates under the cloak of anonymity, and then who is to validate an accusation one way or the other.. I will endeavour to stick to discussing the company and it’s prospects . If I stray from doing so then I am sure I will be pulled up for it ! But can I just say, for the record , that I try and ask questions or. challenge assumptions to reach a better understanding of the share( and any investment I may have) , and also the reasons behind the reasesrch and statements put forward by others....and in as polite a way as possible . It’s easy in small cap , rather complicated companies such as clp , to stir up a mood of positive sentiment that is not always based on fact , and viceversa. It is as also too easy for me to think that this has been ramped for an agenda in the past, as it is for others to think I am being/ have been negative for my own agenda . Good luck to everyone. Well probably need at least a bit of it ;)

Hi Timmit, It’s probably best if I don’t post here at all as there is always someone to misinterpret . As to ‘ accumulating at the expense of others panicky sells’ I just buy at the price the MMs will sell at when I judge it’s worth it and is nothing to do with anyone else. I’ll have £10,000 fivers of profit if the price hits 1.225p and I have held on to them that long . I’m sure you can do the maths . I’ll keave you in peace and wait patiently for news. GLA

Maybe....we all see things in the ‘whole’ rather than being in a ‘hole’. By 2020/21 there will be a hole , with a whole lot of gas coming out of it , and those that have patiently built a good holding will be wholesomly rewarded.

Thanks RKB: I was referring to your spelling of tired earlier ..... Very informative post . I think things are beginning to stir now . I have rather greedily managed to accumulate 7.8 million @ 0.605p as the price is historically very low, and clearly undervalued at present , despite differing opinions of how and where any rise will come from . Never as relaxing as a free ride but hope to engineer one over the coming months .

You sound “tiered “ RKB ;) On the bonds, would not a new resolution be required for Eufingest, ir any other remaining holders, to convert as there was a specific timeframe attached to the recent conversion, which has now passed ?

Fair enough ! I don’t understand why questions are always dismissed assuming some agenda, rather than any attempt to engage in discussion .

It’s a genuine question... i.e, are they waiting to co-incide the appeal filing - which I presume they think they will win and therefore get the land assigned - with a more positive outcome on , say Ondaland , and roll it all into one big announcement? Please don’t always see the negatives in my questions !

Is it conceivable that there is a deliberate delay in appealing the disputed auction of the land over which we have first charge? At the outset we were ‘minded’ to appeal in the 60 day window . Now the window is 6 months ( 3 left ) and lawyers have been instructed to file an appeal. Seems a very long drawn out process . I understand it’s important to get the wording correct , but why so long ?

larger investors take time to read the small print and don’t just jump in and out on news like how us smaller investors are more prone to do , whatever we say on these bbs They also will undoubtedly have personal meetings with the company to help back up their decisions . After the announcement I posted that more serious investors would wait until the churn created by the herd, and existing holders banking profit subsided and then pile in here. They may already be in the know of outline planned placings over the next year or two and will simply wait and get their shares that way . Why would they want to bother with an open market that doubles and halves again in a matter of days or even hours . Small traders however can’t resist it and never learn ( and I know from personal experience!) Good starting price to build a position for real rewards in 2/3 years is probably where we’re at ....exactly the same as before shell, but it can’t help but be a better place with them on board. However I do have concerns that this company doesn’t look after pi’s and the share price enough through better communication, with 2248 being a good example . If the RNS announcing shells deal had also given a better explanation of how a relinquishment of 2248 and then a new enlarged bid , with backing, was a preferred outcome ...and the reasons why ...then there would have been no need for the uncertainty. It felt like it was being hidden behind good news .....

The ask in the ore-market session has consistently been 10% or more above what it is in open trading for weeks now . Is this to stop big buy orders around the closing ask price being placed before opening ?

Scooby/Fairdealer I don’t think the policy of rubbishing A1 every time he posts is very productive . He may be overemphasising his points but it’s fair to have s proper debate about how things might move forward from here, and try and explain how, with Shell on board we are at a lower price than before the (outline) deal was announced .
