There is a difference between healthy caution and pessimism. And I don't think you are the latter category either. Anyways your outlook is your problem, it doesn't bother me. Aim investing I admit requires a good mix of luck, instinct, judgement and experience. Good luck

Let me try allay some anxieties here. I called the company, left my number and got a call back from Rolf. Obviously our conversation was littered with if and buts, as he couldn't give out any definite info. So I'll sum up MY understanding of it (you ll just have to take my interpretation as I can't remember it word for word). Will there be several fund raising shows? Very unlikely as we had good interest. No firm commitments YET hence can't release to market. We want to improve the liquidity. Will raising be at discount? We don't think it will be at a large discount, (which I took to mean a small discount is possible) and it all depends on who's at the table as well: Ex institution with certain expectations etc, so we have to examine it as we go. Will funds be raised, how sure are you as a company? The RNS wording of June deadline may have fluttered a few? Yes, funds will be raised definitely, he doesn't doubt it. The RNS wording is regulatory, necessary. It's not going to the wire: news within days-weeks, within May definitely. News flow staggered will include fund details, AGM and obviously items in portfolio as and when we make decisions. Clear about strategy: NOT a junior explorer. So what of existing assets? Under review is all I can tell you. And IF we divested, we want to ensure we don't lose money. Will existing ordinary investors be offered top ups? No, but anyone is welcome to call investor relations or Rolf and discuss what they want to invest: they may consider same terms as the other investors coming on board. Hope this helps a little :-)

I m surprised to see the skepticism. We need to be mindful no doubt as its AIM, so all angles should be discussed. DL managed a fund of over $500 million value. He is still a director at BD. Frank McAllister worked in ASARCO for over 30 years. Bojtos is well Bojtos: see him speak and make up your own mind. Vedanta resources: massive company from where Adam Melnik strategist comes .....calibre of these professionals shines through. I have no fears for my capital here....running it as a fund allows this team to move from one opportunity to next, in reaction to markets, which reassures me in the event of meltdown events. I expect good things.

The third chap Guy Lebel actually left his newly appointed CFO post and director post (not sure if he did it to join this team or otherwise but timing suggests he jumped ship at an opportunity??). I've been watching interviews given by Frank McAllister, and Peter Bojtos, in different roles of course. No nonsense razor sharp opinion, market awareness and sense of purpose. I find it very interesting that many invest in AIM companies with very little background info/research on the leaders of those companies. Infact the info isn't available even if you try searching, in many instances it's intentionally obscure. The character (or lack of it in most instances) is revealed over months and years. Yet most folks are obsessed with the asset, grades, value in ground, commodity prices, jurisdictional risk etc. Most AIM companies are loss making for folks like us, because we ignore this crucial aspect. The people behind any project, any venture, are the most important aspect. It's not always possible to unearth background on CEOs etc, but we should keep trying in any instance. It's great leaders who inspire, make good sometimes difficult decisions. And by the same token its poor leadership which messes up most organisations, no matter where you work or what you do. Just my humble opinion. Sorry its a long post.

The shares with warrants attached: arent there conditions preventing trading these for a minimum holding period? And are the warrants transferable to the new holder? My understanding is that they are transferable ONLY if there are certificates attached (which will need transferring when sold). Anyone able to clarify this?

I've been reading on CAF and its history. It appears to have been a spin off company majority owned by the chinese entity plus WTI, also managed by WTI, between 2011-16. It had a mere 10% public owned part. They focussed on just the zinc asset in Namibia, had a gradual cash burn which led to coffers going towards zero by 2016. Big office and admin costs of 300-500 k per year. (Explains move in office?) They struggled to get funding to proceed to production, and this was no doubt also partly due to where they found themselves in the commodity cycle. The former CAF zinc asset was marginal in profitability, relying on commodity pricing. Similar I imagine to WTI asset which hinges heavily on copper price. What's more puzzling is the massive dilution that occurred in Nov 2016, raising £1 million, but at the cost of 46 million shares, with most of these having a warrant attached at double the share issue price (4.35 p as sp was 2.17) These shares were to "new investors" alongside few to directors. Who are these new investors? Two types of share issues. Poor transparency Imho. There is provision for the company to purchase the warrants going forwards. I m guessing PJ has held his 1.5 million shares which have warrants attached and has sold the rest. We need clarity on the share structure, majority holders etc. Unfortunately the previous BOD doesn't convey the impression of communicating to/having ordinary investors interests at heart. Even the in specie distribution has left ordinary investors clueless as to future direction of those shares. I fully expect DL to deliver on clarity. These are merely my observations. Wow Screech (and MrChow) chunky holdings. Screech will need a TR1 at this rate soon :-) I've got 10k myself, so invested more on my instinct than the assets. I agree. These two assets will be divested. This is not a junior explorer. The network and people as assets mentioned time and again. Revenue generation fast tracked is the ambition. I've said this before: my priority while choosing: team>>asset>>jurisdiction. If first one is impressive, other two fall into place automatically due to competence. I m resisting the urge to top up!

You can see he's itching to share plans, but has to wait till due dil is done. Long weekend :-)

I think the market dislikes uncertainty. DL knows this and is providing timely communication. The language Abt two assets being "inherited by management" makes it clear as day, that DL had nothing to do with them. Secondly they intend to invest in "producing assets" and so we will see revenue generation not just holes in the ground. What's not to like?!!

Clear communication addressing speculation directly. And I do think the two PJ projects will be sold or in back seat. They have other plans. Exciting
