Grant Stevens doesn't deal directly with the resource sector. So my take is, they have purchased on behalf of their private clients? They manage over $2 billion for some of the wealthiest individuals and families in North America. The firm also has an RTO advisory division. Im guessing board members can't buy in, due to imminent news?

Screech: I agree that these guys are expert financiers, and will bring money to the table, which is the main thing to progress any project. It is disheartening to see paper losses, but experience has taught me not to sell into a dip. It can easily bounce strongly on good news, and with so much in the pipeline, we just have to wait it out. Its a shame I don't have any funds to top up....

It's the wording that's important. DL stated he had been looking "for an opportunity" like CAF, for some time. And he felt the stars aligned. I don't see a man like him lieing through his teeth. Watch some of his interviews and make up your own mind.

I agree with you on some points: PJ is looking out for PJ. And many of investments he's got into are just junior explorer assets, far away from proving up and even further away from producing. Infact the lithium asset in the states, looks odd with no map or geographic clarity. It's why I think the new BOD is refreshing. Depth of experience, mining engg,financing and decades of experience. Definitely high risk till the facts are revealed, that's exactly why it's 2.5p. Good luck all

Very funny post Joebop. So PJ gets 9% shares as he becomes CEO, buys into the RTO plan, then suddenly he steps down and sells his stake? Sounds like he's changed his mind and suddenly considers this high risk? OR, he's made a deal when he stepped down, to sell his stake, which I consider a key step alongside relinquishing his position on the BOD. The new bod is looking at entirely different assets to the two early stage ones PJ acquired. The new asset/s will be closer to production. A complete change of strategy. That's my two pence. We have only a few weeks to find out anyways. Good luck all

After the last declaration of interest, PJ still had about 2.5 million shares, I reckon he has to sell out completely and bod won't release any news before that.

Del: I reckon it could be both. Big chunks as round numbers could be PJ; and odd numbers are other investors who probably felt unsure after PJ left. It hasn't really trashed the price beyond 10-15%. We need to just hold and wait. The time taken indicates a fundamental change in strategy. Imho. Please DYOR and use your own judgement.

I think it is PJ selling. If he was given such a huge chunk of shares in lieu of services/remuneration, there must have been conditions attached to selling these, including a holding period. He can't become CEO barely 4-5 months ago, get shares and sell out immediately. So I m saying the new board and PJ must have negotiated that he could sell out and move on (as he wasn't directly involved in the company any longer). It would make sense to the BOD that he does this BEFORE they unveil their plans. Otherwise the market would view such a huge sell off negatively. Again all speculation. Could be completely off track here.

I think PJ intended for CAF to be a junior explorer: getting assets cheaply, proving them up, resource delineation and sale, make money for himself and investors. DL has commented that he was looking for a vehicle for his idea/s for some time. I think he intends to buy a near production or producing/moth balled project/s and deliver something more, actual revenues etc. And part of this complete change in strategy is PJ selling out. This includes a complete change of the BOD, Name of company, identity etc. Just my two pence. Time will tell

I reckon PJ will sell his entire holding, before we move forward. This may be agreed with the board. Just speculating here

Sorry pressed post, before I finished. This guy has a finance background, so I expect good financing deals, profitability and investor value as priorities.
