Reflection Time2 Sep 2025 06:09
Well done to JustHereForHemo & others for sticking with it & managing to turn things around for HEMO, hopefully the company capitalises on the turnaround.
People also need to reflect on how the company got itself into the position it did in the first place & take action to rectify it.
Last year the disastrous share consolidation & comments by HEMO directors & then there actions that were totally contrary to those comments are largely to blame for what followed. For all the USA listing/insto's talk, won't be issuing under 1p a share etc etc
After the 40 for 1 share consolidation there were just 3,504,539 shares in issue & just before that RNS came out the share price was 1.75p in old money £7.00 in today's terms.
On the 4th Sept there will be 5,043,896 shares in issue ( an increase of 1,539,357 or 43.92% dilution to long term investors holdings) but that actually masks the true scale of the dilution long term shareholders have actually suffered since the share consolidation.
There are a combined 1,197,356 warrants out there from the 6 placings that have occurred since the placing, which are no doubt going to be exercised pretty soon given the massive difference between there exercise price & the current share price. The good news it will give HEMO another 2.15M+in the bank. The bad news - they'll now be 6,241,252 shares in issue (& that excludes the possible 116,000 CLN ones).
So the true scale of the dilution suffered by long term shareholders since the consolidation is 2,736,713 shares or 78.09%. So unless they've actually topped up there old holding prior to the end of Dec 2024 by at least that same percentage they will effectively have been diluted.
Yes the new CLN is a move in the right direction with no down side risk in its terms, but even at £5.30 per share it is further dilutive compared to where everything was pre-consolidation to that 1.75p (£7.00) price.
Anyway hopefully events from now on turn out well for all those long suffering HEMO shareholders, but sadly the upside potential for your holding if you didn't average down is now 80% less than it was back then.
