The number of drill holes required, will depend on several factors, like the size of the ore body, whether the material inside the dome is consistent or highly variable & thus whether the valuable minerals are consistent in assays or vary considerably , whether your trying to get to a feasibility study level of C1 C2 C3 JORC classification etc etc.

If your talking about pre-feasibility JORC then drill holes have to be drilled closer together, so as to give confidence to the independent 3rd party doing the assessment that the data is accurate. If the assays from a section of a deposit are highly variable then holes need to be drilled pretty close if your after a high C1 number for that section, maybe as close as 25M spacing. On the other hand if the grade & width of mineralisation is very consistent over another section of the deposit you might only need to be at 200M spacing on the outer edge with one central hole, rather than having to drill 4 additional holes to make it 100M spacing all round.

However drilling as only just started, the name of the game at the moment is to prove up as large an area of mineralisation as you can, to highlight the potential size of the deposit.

The difference of what's been found in the 2 holes to date (admittedly far less data on 25RSDD002 thus far) is considerable.

Its also strange them saying still in breccia at 777M in 25RSDD001 when in fact we exited the Breccia Pipe there at 722M !! so that was kind of a re-evaluation of the facts by them as well.

I don't think people are comprehending the scale of whats been found so far. 200M by 200M by 100M which is kind of the size of block that appears to be mineralised ( not saying any or part or all of it would be commercially viable) but that equates to 4 Million cubic metres or 10.8 Million tonnes of material.

Prove it extends another 200M deep & also via the deepening of the old 3A & that gives you a block 400M by 400M by 100M & your suddenly at 43.2 Million tonnes of material (and in actual fact the extra depth means the 100M extent has gone beyond 125M but I've ignored it for now)

If you then start to step out southwards on the 2 outer hole lines, you then add an additional 43.2M tonnes of material for each 100M.

They thought they had found a Tier 1 deposit after they'd viewed the first hole 25RSDD001.

25RSDD002 has just upgraded that assessment substantially, but people don't fully realise that yet .............

The problem is we don't have anything like a consistent daily drilling achievement record, ie consistently doing 15M 17M 20M per day to go by.

We really need to see a sea-change on the drilling front, double shifts & at least 2 drill rigs running.

The more information gained about Red Setter Dome right now the better it will be for shareholders.

At the moment there is so little actual data to go which is why so many don't comprehend what is actually happening & are sceptical about it all.

Neither 25RSDD001 or 25RSDD002 are currently looking like the geology found within either the Telfer or Havieron deposits. They are in fact more like the geology of the Lamil Dome to the south of Red Setter.

The 25RSDD002 data to date has surprised me, in being so different to that seen in 25RSDD001, its as if 2 different events happened all inside the same dome yet didn't touch each other less than 200M apart.

Kind of like the assay results from the 12 earlier shallow holes on the right flank of the Main Red Setter Dome, where some assay's had literally no CU in them just Au & yet a couple had significant CU in them up to 2.3%.

The complex the geology the more drilling will be required to find out what we actually have & usually means closer centered holes are required, but in the meantime we really want to be proving up good mineralisation over as big an area as possible.

Deeping 23RSRC003A should hopefully at another 200M+ along the northern edge of the deposit, but given what's been seen in 25RSDD002 I suspect we'll be drilling a new hole to the south west, probably from a new drill pad !!!

But again the lack of informative information coming out from WSBN is hurting investor sentiment, we are in desperate need of a Presentation outlining the current forward plan of action (& yes I know it will change with the drilling data) but it will at least let us see the strategy they intend to apply.

As I said weeks ago, NAV had to be lower than it was 6 months ago because the SURE NAV had dropped during that same timeframe.

Stuck in a holding pattern until they can realise some of the Napster valuation, or one of the other SVV1 holdings gets sold hopefully at a premium to its current book value.

I still prefer to hold SURE directly over MFAI.

Morning All,

Well I wasn't expecting that ! (Silence) this morning I really was expecting to see another RNS with more details of what's been found in 25RSDD002 as it continues to go deeper.

I wanted more info Especially around the lack of chalcopyrite found so far in hole 25RSDD002 ! is that continuing or is it now trending that way with increased depth.

At the moment it feels like to different finds - one likely to have decent levels of CU in it & one possibly not !

All eyes peeled for an in day RNS I guess now that we're likely to be around the 620M mark if not deeper.

I asked chat GPT-5 to compare the 2 holes separately against both the Telfer & Havieron deposits, 7 then against other known deposits around the world this is what it came up with.

Interpretation

25RSDD001 is more Havieron‑like (breccia‑hosted, Cu–Au sulphides, long intercepts).

25RSDD002 is more Telfer‑like (altered sediments, carbonate–quartz–pyrite veins, pervasive halo).

Neither hole yet shows the definitive Telfer reef geometry (sheeted bedding‑parallel reefs) nor the pyrrhotite‑rich massive sulphides of Havieron.

So, both are partial analogues, but not perfect fits.

So neither of the exciting known deposits, ties in that well with what has been found in 25RSDD001 & 25RSDD002 to date (obviously there is a lot more data to come from 25RSDD002 which is barely inside mineralisation thus far.

Best local analogues instead:

25RSDD001 (breccia pipe) looks closer to Maroochydore hypogene Cu–sulphide systems than to Telfer reefs.

25RSDD002 (altered sediments) is closer to Lamil Dome‑style dome‑margin alteration corridors.

To understand the complexities of the Telfer deposit for example, its full of high grade veins etc, but they are very thin indeed. Which is why the overall grade they have is low.

i wrote this yesterday which no doubt got lost in all the noice!!

"I know some won't like this theory, but lets put it out there for future reference.

The drilling timeline for me simply doesn't stack up.

They started the hole on 22nd August & were at a minimum of 344M but with all the drill core trays on the bench photo on morning of 11th September at least 385M if not around 420M deep at that point in time. That covered 20 days to end of 10th Sept.

You then have another 14 days to take you to the end of 24th September to be at 581M.

So this hole has been way slower than expected to drill & has followed a different path to the one previously given to shareholders, my guess is that something went wrong with the drill after 420M depth & they had to go back & sidetrack it which is why its taken so long for news to come through & why they are 200M South-West of hole 1 rather than the 50-75M projected.

Its why those photo's we kept being shown never had any visible drill cores in them for us to see etc. They were simply trying to buy themselves some time while they drilled the side-track !

Anyway, we'll no doubt find out if I'm right in due course....

I guess the next update will give us something of a clue by how much further they have drilled in the meantime.

Anyway lets see what other exciting news hole 2 has in store for us all.....

To answer your question I don't think the surface location moved from where they planned it, either my above is correct or maybe like with the previous holes they drilled they had issues drilling in the direction they wanted to go initially. Hole 2 - 25RSDD002 was drilled at 70 degree dip, the same as 25RSDD001.

I know you think 25RSDD002 was drilled close to the location of 25RSDD001, but if it was then they have the drill rig sitting right on top of it, because it has to start to the southwest of hole 1's location & if that were the case you'd see it on the ground in all the pictures & we're not seeing anything other than a tiny white square occasionally.

A pretty comprehensive Presentation, only thing lacking was some financials with it, but I guess they might still be negotiable for each customers needs, just doesn't give investors in HUI any ballpark numbers as to how profitable a set-up it might be per facility for us.

Will be interesting to see how the market reacts to it, given the rise over the past couple of days.

At one point they were issuing quite a few posts on there linkedin account but the last update there was over 2 months ago !!!

Yes I know the option was exercised but completion has never occurred yet, but HUI have a legal position regarding OO in that they exercised the terms of the option, which should then legally convert. HUI has lent OO a considerable sum of money with over £1.1M outstanding at the 31st Dec 2024. Thus demonstrating that they were financing there implied 49% holding etc.

Anyway lets see what today brings for HUI ...........

People getting excited by the 200M step-out, everyone needs to realise that they are currently drilling what could be the shortest of the 3 axis !!!

Maybe time for you to post a link to your 3 Gold Dome X-post Casper786 so that people can see the potential size of it all, as most won't realise the main dome is @ 12km in length (& no I'm not saying its all going to be mineralised or commercially viable) but it gives a true sense for everyone of the potential here.

Casper786, there is a reasonable chance of another RNS tomorrow, given the time today's one came out, they'd still be drilling at Red Setter Dome, & they have hours of drilling tomorrow to do before its 8am here & given the fact there was only 50M from the Dome Hinge to the Breccia Pipe in hole 1, Hole 2 will likely enter it (if its present this far apart) by Monday morning UK time.

So being out of WSBN over the next couple of days is going to be highly risky for sure.

Exactly British_Mike, they were meant to be 50-75M apart at a depth of 550M & now we find out that they are 200M apart !!!

They didn't address this at all in the RNS, we really need a presentation produced to show us what's all going on here.

Given the surface collars are close together, these 2 holes are only going to get wider apart as they go deeper.

They are proving up quite a lot of ground very quickly if they are going to continue doing 200M initial spacing!!!

Exciting times for sure but a bit more clarity would be very useful indeed for everyone.

Nothing wrong with having a balanced view.

Plenty of things the company are not doing that I for example aren't happy with & have said so here.

I don't have a bias regarding WSBN as I've not been invested in it before, but for newbies to WSBN perhaps you need to give full disclosure to the fact that you were invested here several years ago & didn't have a good experience shall we say. Just to put everything in perspective.
