Thanks for that, that's a lot more than I imagined.

If only 2024 hadn't occurred ! or had occurred in a different way!

I mean even if that upfronts deal had completed & taken place, there would be enough cash in the company to easily see it through to break even & beyond.

Yet personally that wouldn't have been the main benefit, that would have been showing VPP can be done at scale. Which then leads you to the ultimate question was the Multinational advertiser happy to then repeat the deal on the same scale or larger this year? & if the answer to that was Yes then the business model works, brands & content providers are happy & Mirriad is a lucrative cash cow!

If the deal had gone through the share price wouldn't be anywhere near where it is now & there is no way I would own anything like 1% of the company let alone 1.5% currently.

As I've said I'm going to take that holding even higher.

Lets see what the next few months bring starting with growthfronts!

Flightman, with all due respect, I'm not here looking for 2p a share.

I don't know exactly how much money Mirriad has spent over the years getting to this point, it listed with a market cap of £65M (or at one point in time had that valuation) but I'm guess £50M in cash not to mention all the time & effort that has gone into it all.

As you know one multinational or brands was prepared to spend between $20 - 40M on VPP & that was with one content provider!

So lets say it was P&G who were willing to spend that much & I'm guessing the content providers was either WBD or PM. It doesn't really matter which as both have around 15 - 16% share of the market.

If you take that lower $20M figure then when all said & done with Mirriad's margins etc that would have translated into a slightly conservative £3M ( or for ease later £1.5M per $10M of ad spend with a partner in the USA) with just the one content provider.

Now P&G I'm sure has one content provider it prefers over the other's & may send 10% extra of its budget to that one. However it is going to spend plenty of ad $ with the other providers to. So WBD gets 25% of the budget for its 15% coverage & the other 85% gets the other 75% of the budget.

In that scenario if everyone offered VPP then P&G would be spending $80M. If Mirriad has 80% of the market (which it would if you include the 2 they are talking to) then P&G would be spending $62M with Mirriad partners. That's just over £9M (which is the sort of size Mirriad should be spending annually if it wasn't cost cutting as much).

So just one multinational going on the minimum spend figure from the failed upfronts deal last year would effectively allow Mirriad to break even.

Given the effects VPP has on sales I doubt its competitors would just stand back & let that happen without them entering the VPP world.

The big content providers clearly see this as a potential big revenue stream otherwise it simply wouldn't interest them given there multibillion valuations.

Now if you look forward, take in auto's, financials & beverages not to mention music video's etc & think $200M of ad spend with Mirriad partners is a reasonable figure to go with. Then that's around £30M less say £12M of costs for the expanded business, leaving you £18M or close to 2p a share of earnings. What P/E should such a business trade on ?

I've got my fingers crossed that my plan B might play out in the next couple of days & I might then finally be in a position to buy some more! :) but I'm trying to not temp fate given what's happened a month ago & still isn't resolved or any closer to a resolution! So plan B might hit snags as well knowing them :(

I see the person who bought £6K's worth on Thursday afternoon has sold out this morning for a 10% loss.

Hard to know what someone was expecting to happen is such a short period of time! especially when Mirriad are not keen on Friday / Monday RNS's

I actually didn't spot the Netflix sign in the back of that show :(

There are 15 things listed under "1H’25 General Market Opportunities" 4 of which are repeated under the "1H’25 Diverse-Owned & Targeted Opportunities" (which also had a list of 15 things) it also states for the record "Content is directional and subject to change".

Quite possibly 100 hours of new content there, excluding the Music Video's which is listed on both pages.

What struck me was "Concacaf Music Video" in connection with the Concacaf gold cup (football) !

Then you've also got a slide entitled - TURNKEY ACTIVATION | Mirriad Proprietary Platform

They have added 6 new pages to the end of December version.

What's very interesting is them showing some of the content available for VPP in the 1st half of 2025. So it looks like the content clearance issue has been addressed ( whether that's fully or partially who knows). Typical lead time is 3 to 5 weeks.

Lets see if any of the other documents get updated ahead of the event

Hi All,

Just to say I have finally received a reply to my email of 2nd Feb late yesterday afternoon.

I now find myself in an awkward position, because the company already knows I want them to publicly answer my queries & on this occasion it doesn't look like they are going to go down that route.

I have already replied to it, again emphasizing the need not for brand names / content providers to be in the monthly updates but factual data that shows us that progress is being made.

I have also asked that anyone who emailed in with a similar request for monthly updates receives a similar email to mine. Hopefully that might happen early next week depending I guess on how many other emails arrived in there inbox over the 10 day gap!

I'm not going to say any more than that for now on it (I don't think its price sensitive) & for the record it doesn't change my plans in anyway & I'll still be going to 20M or 22.5M as soon as I can.

If you listen to the September webinar SB talks about what happened with Triplelift & his view on it. However its a completely different company so who knows what Triplelift's board of directors etc thought or were already planning to implement that there CEO wasn't aware off!

Your absolutely right, we need to see revenue coming in the door & the sooner the better which is why we need monthly updates which include the cleared content number because that's kind of an early guide to revenue growth etc.

Programmatic - is the key cog in the wheel & until its running properly everything else will have to get pushed back in time accordingly which is why I'm constantly hoping for that announcement to drop!

Well Triplelift deal was signed 8th April 2024 & the top guy who signed the deal had left within a month of that date & I don't recall any Triplelift staff talking about there work with Mirriad etc or vise versa.

The BENlabs engagement has been completely different, there top execs have re-posted the 7th Jan announcement several times now (something never seen with Triplelift) & several staff have posted about working with Mirriad as well.

So I'd say things have got off to a very good start.

PP & VPP are very similar indeed an SSP (TripleLift) works in a completely different space.

I hope you saw my earlier message to you ?

Product Placement takes ages to happen, everyone knows that, BENlabs has already said today the new Captain America film took 2 years to achieve.

So the journey with Mirriad has only just begun & as I said earlier today it will be 6 to 9 months minimum before projects they are now taking on & cooperating on reach the point of generating any revenue for the company.

However there maybe some projects that BENlabs are already involved in & are on there way to release that Mirriad could augment with VPP provided the Brand/Multinational desires it & has an additional budget for it as well. VPP can be done in short order - lets say a couple of weeks.

I'm not in anyway saying that's going to happen anytime soon but the possibility is certainly there.

I also said I believe BENlabs will make it well known when the first dual PP & VPP operation happens, because they will want to encourage brands/multinationals down that route especially those with a global or multi country market.

Yes on the 7th Jan the Programmatic Solution was on the cusp, where is it right now ? from this side of the fence we have absolutely no idea, still in testing / back with the developers / partially released / being rolled out / or live.

Where it is, is critical, so many things are connected to it, the Diverse Market Place, Canela App, LA-NATION / TSR offering, shopify etc etc.

Which is why we need updates from the company.

BENlabs worked 2 years on that project to get it to screen !

Having thought about it, I'm pretty sure that BENlabs will make a fuss over the first Mirriad involved project so that they can show the "Dual" approach is working !
