The agreement was first made back in 2020 & there’s been precious little in the way of recent updates. Tim’s latest interview failed to mention it once & - according to you - Avion’s website makes no reference to it.

Problem is, unless IMM’s latest “breakthrough” research really is as groundbreaking as Tim makes out, what’s left?

Tigger - it was great to hear Tim confirm IMM’s “strong” cash balance (a couple of mill in the till) will have £ multi billion pharma companies swooning & swarming all over it.

After all, that sort of cash would make a real difference to their bottom line.

I agree though that it might actually help accelerate IMM’s own research programme in the months ahead.

Have to say, I’m always sceptical when AIM CEOs claim their shares are hugely undervalued without being able to give much concrete evidence why. Tim’s latest interview was full of nudgy nudgy, share price doubly, winky winkys.

And we kept hearing how masterful the latest Lanstead sharing agreement was. Even though all bar one of the previous agreements lost IMM considerable money. But no, this time it’s totes different, cos there’s gonna be newsflow coming out of our ears & Smilin Tim’s gonna be doing interview after interview. Well I can’t wait for that.

Has to be said, Tim’s painted himself into a corner here if the timelines slip & a deal isn’t forthcoming by the year end. But we have been here many a time before.

So shock horror - TW might have been talking out of turn. Not to mention out of his ar$e.

Plumbs - if Tim doesn't ALREADY look rather foolish, given all his broken promises over the years, you've perhaps not been listening closely enough.

Indeed, we CAN be far from news. Which is perhaps why the share price hasn't quite reached £1.00 to £1.50 yet.

It doesn't sound like Y1 figures are going to blow the XXXXXX doors off.

Even by Morepen's own forecast (likely to be optimistic, judging by all the previous partners), this "only" adds about £300k to revenues in Y1.

But the partnership is expected to grow sales YOY, assuming initial results are positive. So it could become much more significant.

Of more interest to me would be ANY good news on Sweetbiotix. It's gone awfully quiet.

IC8888 - I think you'll find it's not the case that "There can only be a revaluation if an event occurs such as a fund raise".

Scottish Mortgage holds a number of privately owned companies (currently around 27% of its total portfolio). And it has revalued a large proportion of them 5 times or more over the past year. If you wait until IPO, you risk grossly over- or under-stating their book value in the accounts in the meantime.

Spantrout - water also has a successful safety profile, with no serious side effects or reactions.

Problem is , clinical trials have found it - like Lupuzor - to be ineffective so far in curing lupus compared to a placebo.

Not saying it won't ever succeed. But so far it hasn't, which sadly makes the safety aspect totally irrelevant.

Pebsi - presumably the FDA wants new drugs to succeed. But it has to ensure - amongst other things - that they're a) more effective than a placebo & b) safe.

I don't think they'd "look favourably" on any trial in the way you suggest. A P3 trial has specific pre-agreed endpoints. And it either meets these or it doesn't. IMM's last trial back in 2018 didn't.

It's true, the FDA did help nudge any revised trial towards much higher dosage levels.

And - as documented on IMM's own website - "It is anticipated that this new Phase III trial will commence in 2020".

Yet here we are five years later. And not a whisper from Tim.

All of which just goes to show, best in future to name specific target month(s), rather than nebulous seasons.

The two are not the same.

We can all argue over semantics. But today's market reaction to the RNS suggests disappointment, which suggests there's been a set back (quite literally).

Also a bit of a joke the way it singles out Tek's SP performance v. market indices over the past 12 months.

djm1 - I do trust Bo. It’s DM I’ve the issue with. He has now repeatedly given out info which has subsequently had to be retracted or corrected. That is far from helpful for any fledgling company trying to instil investor trust.

Djm1 - I don't buy that explanation on X. It's simply not credible IMHO.

Being listed on Aim, Hex must know it's communicating equally - if not more - with UK investors compared to US ones.

I have to say I agree to some extent with JH. I think others are being too quick to deride him & come up with trading conspiracy theories for him.

Whilst a few months' potential delay is neither here nor there given the full extraction timeframe, it DOES contradict what DM told us just a few weeks prior.

This looks to me like YET ANOTHER example of DM getting ahead of himself and over-egging things.

Message consistency is crucial to investor trust. Particularly in a relatively new company. I just wish Minchin would zip it and let Bo do all the talking. Newsflow significantly impacts Hex's SP. And each time Minchin says something that's subsequently unwound by Bo, people are likely to become more sceptical about ANY guidance the company issues.

Mbvb2 - today's RNS is slightly ambiguous in terms of Guident's IPO.

Despite saying:

"Guident, the remaining private company, preparing to float on NASDAQ in 2025"

they later add:

"we believe Tekcapital's valuation gap may narrow, particularly IF (my caps) its fifth portfolio company achieves a public listing."

Hmmmm.

Despite Cliff's ridiculous salary (not to mention all those bonuses), he can't even get the basics right.

According to the latest RNS "Two of our Investment Portfolio companies (MicroSalt plc & GenIP) floated on AIM in 2025".

Monteacute - yes I'd say that's a fair summary. Except to add that IF they ever do a P3 retrial, they've already confirmed a much higher dosage will be administered. That in itself should improve the chances of success - notwithstanding any "novel insights" / "new breakthroughs" which may or may not amount to a row of beans.
