I contacted my provider (iWeb) about it on 21 Aug and was told "I can confirm the cash is expected on or around 28th August and will be credited to customers accounts as soon as possible."

I've recontacted them today asking them when funds will hit, given that under the Scheme terms "settlement will be effected by the crediting of CREST accounts not later than 14 days after the Effective Date, being 28 August 2025".

Will update here as soon as they reply.

Anyone noticed how expectations have been drastically diluted here?

Not long ago, all the talk was of a $ multi million (if not billion) big pharma takeover deal this year. Now, the most anyone seems to be talking about is patent filing. Which - despite being a step in the right direction- ain’t exactly gonna make investors rich.

HarChris - "If you were holding in March/April/May you were expecting production to begin in four to five months. If you’re holding now you’re expecting it to begin in roughly one month. Evidently the latter is preferable."

Which probably explains why Hex's closing high between March & May was 17p, as opposed to 24p+ currently (even after the drop over the last few days).

Barring an RNS, the words “pump” & “dump” spring firmly to mind.

Lisa may have hinted at patent filing being the next stage. But she wouldn’t have been able to say when (or even if) this was likely to happen, as that would be market-sensitive info.

So she’s basically just told us something we already knew.

Wouldn’t say the latest RNS was discouraging - just lost us some momentum. And was a bit of a non-event.

86KB - that quote is meaningless guff from the Board unfortunately. They've been stringing investors along for ages now, including promises of a follow up Phase 2/3 trial for years.

Who knows what's behind today's rise.

But before getting too excited, probs best to remember that exactly the same thing happened a few weeks ago. Only for the SP to come crashing back down to earth again shortly afterwards.

Barring RNS confirmation of any major change, same thing's likely to happen this time.

In short, if we get an RNS, there could well be something in this (as well as proof of a leaky ship). Otherwise, it's all just speculative nonsense that'll soon unwind.

FS - Judging by the general reaction here to news of the OTCQB listing, it makes little difference either way.

I'm not sure it was done to distract (think that's probably a bit harsh on SOH), but I largely view it as an irrelevance.

Sheffieldowls - you’re right in terms of timing for those H&T proceeds.

And some may well use at least a portion of that to buy into RFX.

As I’ve stated from the outset, I won’t be amongst them at current price levels as I think RFX still has something of a takeover speculation premium built in. And personally I’m very doubtful of anything materialising on that front, short term at least.

I might be tempted sub-£3.00 if RFX ever dropped to that - otherwise I see far better opportunities elsewhere for the time being.

Pardariff - unfortunately, methinks there's a major flaw in your argument. Namely that 4-5 wells producing over the next year is ALREADY largely priced in. Otherwise, based on your logic, the current SP would be closer to zero.

So highly unlikely that "4 wells could more than double the share price". But I do think we could easily get to the mid 30s+ within the next couple of months, assuming Inez flow tests positive & production has started (albeit slowly & steadily to begin with I suspect).

Troajan - Not sure how informed the punters were on that blog you linked to. There was a lot of wittering on & speculating about their favourite tips without much substance to it.

In terms of RFX, they mentioned FirstCash, but without referring once to its recent acquisition of H&T (unless I missed something). They just said FirstCash was looking to expand into Europe, then hinted that this could make Ramsdens a prime target for them.

Only problem being, I can’t imagine for one second the CMA would allow FirstCash to own both H&T and Ramsdens. To my mind, there’s a degree of takeover speculation built into RFX’s price still since H&T was acquired. And whilst you never know whether somebody new might come along, I think we can safely conclude FirstCash wouldn’t be the suitor.

They also said how extra competition in the UK’s gold/pawnbroking/forex sector (presumably from FirstCash’s arrival) would be a good thing. Which might be true for customers. But less so if you’re RFX, facing a new aggressive contender that wants to muscle in, is very well capitalised and has just become market leader overnight.

Ezhik - not sure why there’d be any need to dilute.

Hex currently has over £3m mrq and assuming the production timetable is reasonably accurate it should be hugely cash generative within the next few months.

The only reason to raise additional funds soon would be for some major new acquisitions, which wouldn’t necessarily be bad news for investors longer term anyway (unless they proved duff).

Couerdelion - yes, VERY hypothetical, given what’s happened (or rather not happened) with all the previous IPOs.

That quote from CheshireUK is about as far as you can get from PROOF that “a special dividend will be paid”.

As you rightly point out, they’ve been saying this for YEARS. The proof is that - despite spinning off several holdings some time ago - we’ve yet to see a single penny in special dividends.

Clifford will of course insist the rewards are just around the corner, seeing as his over-inflated salary relies on investors staying on board. However facts speak louder than words.

No wonder the UK’s secular.

CheshireUK - I may have missed something, but could you please point us to the RNS where “the board are stating clearly that a special dividend will be paid”.
