BK2011 - agreed. But if you subscribe to their email list, I thought they periodically sent you 40% discount offers. Which makes them cheaper than Amazon, assuming they're still doing this. Others will be abloe to confirm.

It's not an everyday purchase, so with a bit of careful management, you should be able to just order enough each time to last until the next promo. Sure, you're still not benefiting Opti to the full as you're buying at a discount. But at least Amazon aren't getting their (substantial) cut too.

They're in it purely for themselves and the vast majority of their finance deals have completely shafted IMM.

As a shareholder, I certainly wouldn't encourage others to purchase via Amazon if they can find similar prices by going direct, as Amazon will charge Opti significant commission.

All very well issuing nigh-on-daily tweets with photos of not very much when the going's good - "Here's a shed in the middle of nowhere". "Oh and here's a pipe stuck in a trench".

But prior to today's tweet, nada for over a week. Then along comes today's post, trying to turn a delay into a positive “Coming weeks promise to be transformational as the final components arrive to site”.

Don't get me wrong - I very much keep the faith here. But there's faint echoes of Minchin's bubbling cauldron video creeping back in. And that ain't good.

Surprised (but pleased) that today's tweet didn't provoke a more negative market response TBH.

Unless/until Tim delivers, the only sensible reaction is caution (given his track record).

I'm holding, as I think he's gone much further than normal in terms of promising a deal by this year end. So come January 2026 it's basically shXX or bust time for him.

And if it's the former, it'll still almost have been worth holding, just to see him try to wriggle out of things before finally being hoisted by his own petard & ousted by all IMM's disllusioned investors.

In fact I still do. Fully expect limited production & initial offtake news by end of this month or first half of next. Which in itself is still later than I was thinking originally, given Bo’s “summer” guidance. But let’s not go there again, eh?!

Oh, and before I’m accused (again!) of being a shorter or deramper, I’m not. Just giving my take on this latest tweet, which I regard as neutral at best.
