You didn't think that through did you. Many of the flood of eastern European workers didn't use the PAYE system as a full time employee of a business under a minimum wage . All of the stocks in my portfolio, which these days are mainly good dividend payers are also all 'trading opportunities' whether that is fortunate enough to be over a number of days , weeks , months or years. Others may prefer to buy and keep through all the ups and downs without second guessing the market over shorter time frames.
