My ultra defensive stock National Grid hit another all time high today. BUT

not even that got away in the market meltdown, ending down.

Every stock in my portfolio was down today - cannot remember the last time that happened.

Last trading day of tax year, so maybe some investors took advantage and did a bed and Isa crystallising some losses?

Made a number of purchases today in the chaos.

I left a limit of 67p on when I put in my order so went into 'dealing' mode .

I then bought at quoted market price and then hoped it didn't fall a little more to 67p, but it did with about a minute to go, so ended up buying back more of the 75.6p sale , with 2 trades, 2 trading charges .Unfortunately on my platform I cannot cancel a limit order online, you have to phone up,but I didn't have time for that.

Never mind, just hope it ends up being beneficial - new tax year for trading on Monday

Back some of those sold for 75.6p a couple of weeks ago at just over 67p

For buybacks today

I hope they have ramped up share buy backs today, as much as possible within the rules

At under 366p

Now back to a 52 week low

200p was an average price on purchase

At 200p

Some more of those sold at about £9 in February at under 746p

At about 186.7p

wouldn't mind seeing a lot lower price

Will purchase further at lower levels if it happens from higher level sales.

These falls of course are because of the Trump tariff fallout - will have to wait to see how things settle down
