'' I appreciate you have lost considerable sums on this and CLS Holdings''
You really should not post things as if a fact when they are not.
CLS has been one of four of my best ever investments having first bought in early 2000. I had made a fortune on the stock (20 bagger) and currently just playing with a tiny part of that already banked vast profit.
As for HFEL which is a relatively new investment in my portfolio, I am not losing money, taking advantage of trading points which included sales at a much higher level than the current price.
The environment for HFEL will improve after Covid and the inflation that it caused on coming out of it.
''All the points I have made about this trust are fully qualified. To assert that what I am saying is nonsense is a bit on the obnoxious side''
Once again saying that HFEL is 'eating itself' is complete nonsense.
Dividends are very nearly always covered by income, and as I have said they also have a good amount in a dividend reserve.
They have also made use of the stock most of the time trading at above NAV. which has meant that they have been able to issue new shares for the benefit of the fund, and when for a period the shares were trading at a discount they bought back shares - both actions sensible.
