As far as I can see, it is an unwinnable war for Russia - they were supposed to have conquered all of Ukraine in a few days.

The sooner Putin accepts that he cannot win his goals the better. It is going to get harder and harder for Russia, especially if Trump shows some backbone - he has been pathetically weak against Putin thus far. Also price of oil recently has not helped Putin.

I would be more than happy to get a hit on my oil investments as a consequence of a very low oil price if it meant the demise of Putin.

I imagine that a return to much higher temperatures could wipe a lot of humanity out, which may be a good thing for the planet.

Simply a question of humanity making the best of what the climate gives us.

No one wants pollution, whether that is in the air, seas, rivers, or on land .

As for cars, that should be market forces that determine how many ICE or electric vehicles are purchased and not politicians forcing electric only upon people.

Gas boilers for homes should not be phased out.Once again should be left to market forces.If people want solar panels or a heat pump. let them have them but they should not be subsidised by other tax payers,the individual should pay the full cost

I will count my purchase as 'for free' having come out of previous profits.

I would consider a further purchase on any further reasonable drop in share price.''

I made a sale in 2021 at over 400p.

2021 underlying profits were about £17 million

2024 underlying profits (from continued operations) were about £37 million.

Why is the valuation currently so low some may ask.

Underlying profits expected to reach £100 million within the next 5 years.

Happy to have bought down to about 82p in Oct 2022.

A lot of patience has been required for this stock to hopefully eventually to see the rewards.

My investment at 172p on the 7th April looking good at the moment

IMB reached yet another 7+ years high

LLOY trading at a lower low valuation today - a bit better for buybacks- need a fraction below 70p average this year to enable 4% of pre buyback number of shares to be bought.

Last sold a few on 23rd November 2022 at a little bit below the current price.

I won't be thinking of selling any more until much nearer the £30 mark.

Complete nonsense of course. First of all it would be an algorithm making the purchases.

Secondly purchases are made within limits and rules.

Thirdly the average price paid today was below the average share price today.

Fourthly the first of the purchases didn't take place until well into the afternoon.
