Once again - totally CLUELESS - HFEL's asset value and income are two completely separate things.

you appear totally clueless - the sustainability of HFEL dividends is NOT dependant upon NAV. The NAV comes from the valuation of underlying investments in various businesses. Those underlying valuations in various stock markets have been hit since Covid, for example Hong Kong market down about 30% since 2021 etc etc.

Once again - dividends most of the time are covered by income, but there is also a dividend reserve fund - It was not long ago that the dividend was increased to 6.2p per quarter.

Dividends are nearly always covered by income, but they also have a dividend reserve just in case of miss timings or short fall. No need for a daily repeat of what can be extracted on the rns

Lloy still trading at a low valuation - hoping to see the removal of 4% of pre buyback number of shares by the current repurchase programme.

To finish with , I would be more than happy for the dividend to be cut to zero, with a return to tender offers instead.

We have gone through a period post covid period where cost of debt had risen, so selling properties no longer fitting the new vision would make sense.

why would a dividend not be cut, if CLS think that it more beneficial for long term shareholders for that money to be invested in their property portfolio.

Dividends are a relatively new thing for CLS . Most of the time since I first invested invested in 2000,returns were made by way of tender offers.

The current dividend yield is high.

Also LTV ratio increases with decreases of property values on the books of which we have had plenty in recent times, but property values will not go to zero.
