There was not much movement/addtions to the Sanctioned/Awarded figures towards the end of February, 2024, but there was an additional 170,767 smart meters installed over the previous figure. Bringing the total for the February 2024 Achievement figure, to 656,726.

So encouraging, I would say.

I was just about to post the NSGM report and noticed that you had already done it. So thank you for posting the information.

You are correct, in that the NSGM report has introduced an AMISP/SI column, so that it is easier to track who has what and who are the other Companies involved in the projects.

There are a number of contracts that have been Awarded, that are still to get to the Deployment Commencement/AMISP/SI stage, so still some news to come over the coming days/weeks/months, I would think.

Understanding the way contracts should be negotiated and the confidentiality required within those negotiations between different companies, there was/is not a problem for me personally, in not knowing the full facts of the contract. Until all parties agree that the time is right.

The Thailand LOA, from JST, additionally gives us the number of Omnimesh CNIC Modules, along with some technical details. But no end customer and no overall value.

Through the CyanConnode LOA RNS, we are also informed that the deployment of the Omnimesh CNIC's will commence in the first quarter of FY25 - but no length of installation contract or details about any potential additional Support & Maintenance contracts.

But all is good, in my opinion. But we know that opinions differ.

Thank you for providing the document Vas, that confirms the confidentiality aspect and also what we have been informed of by CyanConnode in the past.

I have raised in the past, the confidentiality of the information that CyanConnode are allowed to give out in RNS's and Presentations. Heather, I seem to remember, went to great lengths some time ago, to explain this particular point, about what information is released and when.

Our customers/clients have competion also, that they want to keep in the dark as long as possible.

The new order recently from JST for a customer in Thailand, is the most recent. JST are mentioned along with the number of Omnimesh Modules, with other pieces of information. But no value and no end customer are mentioned.

I have high-lighted the confidentiality aspect of CyanConnode's RNS's for some time, but there are those that use the lack of information from CyanConnode as a criticism of CyanConnode, rather than the proper business protocol that it really is.

That is correct Vas, about the lapse in time between Award and order to sub-contractors. It has been mentioned before, which I have repeated. The last time I posted about it, was on 12th February, 2024, at 14:15, from the Zeus report from the same day.

I won't repeat the whole paragraph, just the relevant part to support the point you are making.

From the Zeus report - part of the " Opportunities in India just starting " paragraph:-

" Whilst 198m RDSS-related meters ( 222m total ) have been sanctioned and 88m RDSS-related ( 108m total ) have been awarded, far fewer meters have named sub-suppliers and only the small numbers of meters above have been deployed. We expect the large numbers of sanctioned and awarded meters to soon filter down to sub-contractors, such as CyanConnode. There is typically a delay of a few months between the award of the contract to the prime bidder and the subsequent award to sub-contractors ................ "

I provided the information contained in the original RNS, dated 30th December, 2019, which confirmed the wave-length of 442/447MHz, which is allocated to the Thai energy utilities, posted on 13th February, 2024, at 17:12.

It also mentions in the 30th December, 2019 RNS, that " CyanConnode will deploy its Omnimesh technology, which has been integrated into Forth's electricity meters and Oracle's meter data management solution ....... " which ties up quite nicely with what Vas posted this morning, with PEA and MEA.

John Cronin commented within the RNS dated 30th December, 2019:-

" We are delighted to be part of the consortium contracted to implement a smart metering deployment for MEA in Thailand.

" CyanConnode's Omnimesh solution met all evaluation criteria and outperformed competitors solutions. This success demonstrates the suitability of Omnimesh for the global smart metering market.

" We look forward to working with JST and Forth to deliver our Omnimesh Advanced Metering Platform, in Thailand."

Looking at yesterdays RNS, in connection with Thailand/JST/CyanConnode, I look at it as being significant, even though it is not numerically large, because it says so in the RNS.

CyanConnode's first two orders from JST, for Thailand, were for the MEA, during December 2019 and a follow-on order during March 2020.

What makes yesterday's LOA really " ... significant ...... " for me, is that it does not mention the MEA. So more than likely, a new customer for CyanConnode?
