As we know, we have already been told by the Company, in the May 2018 Finals Report for year 2017, that funding will be required.

From the report:-

" We continue to work on securing additional funding that will be required during 2018., especially as we start to deliver on orders which are expected to require upfront working capital investment. This funding could include one or a mix of working capital facilities, strategic corporate investments, additional equity funding and licensing deals, for our new Omni IoT platform."

But I am sure you already know this, as I have mentioned it before.

Yes, funding was mention by dewall and others. Both in the open session and afterwards. Various options are being considered and share-holders will be notified when the opportunity arises, when funding is required and a decision has been made on how the funding will be structured.

You would not expect anymore detail, at a presentation like the one yesterday.

There is a certain amount of confidentiality about these orders, that I have mentioned previously. The meter manufacturing Partners seem to prefer their competitors not knowing what they are doing and who they are doing it with. And some utilities are the same.

It may even be a new meter manufacturer Partner or a new utility?

The " ...... 5k, 50k, 100k ....... " was first mentioned by Peter Mainze, at a meeting in Cambridge, some years back, when he joined Cyan ( at the time ) from Sensus. I am optimistic that we have entered a different stage of the smart metering cycle and although 20k,30k orders would still be welcome, the " ... qualified opportunities ...... " that are available, on page 14, seem to paint a more optimistic pattern. As you have indicated.

Good morning 2cv and all,

I believe the " ...... qualified opportunities ...... " are those with an RF based requirement, which therefore offers CyanConnode the opportunity to win the contract, through our Partners.

There have been tenders in the past, that have not been " smart " and have not had an RF requirement or a prime RF requirement.

The 8 utility opportunities on page 14, I believe show an opportunity for approximately 2.5 million meters, that are active tenders at the moment.

From the report, which was also included in the order RNS:- " The product was launched in 2018 and this brings the total value of orders received for this new product, to in excess of $16 million and demonstrates its suitability for the Indian smart meter market. The size and scale of this opportunity reflects the rapidly evolving Indian market, as well as the ability of CyanConnode's Tier One Partners, to offer highly innovative and workable solutions."

" ...... the rapidly evolving Indian market ....... " sounds promising.

Still, it is good to see the share-price holding up so far. As 2cv has also mentioned, I thought it would loose a bit today, but overall, encouraging.

I think the general consensus of most on the bb, is captured in your Subject Headline. I suppose the burning question is, how close are CyanConnode to other orders, such as the one received today. By that I mean not just a multi million $ order, but recognized revenue within a few months, rather than 12/18 months?

From Anil's BRR Media presentation introduction, back in November 2017, you gather from that, that Anil and his team have been/are extremely busy with various tenders and potential client contacts.

During his presentation, he seems to take responsibility not only for securing the orders, but also for their implementation, as well.

His credentials are excellent and his knowledge within/of the smart meter industry, through his Tech Mahindra contacts and others, is well recognized and respected.

I apologize for the incorrect spelling of your user-name this morning. I have only just noticed. I had to go out this morning and the predictive spelling on my flat phone, altered the spelling of your user-name and I did not realize.

My flat-phone is not 100% smart, as you can tell. But I get by. Just.

......... from July 23rd, 2018, for 10,000 smart metering units, may also prove significant in that it did not give any specific utility for which the order is destined to be installed. Just that:- " The smart meters will be deployed over the next two month's, with initial deliveries of CyanConnode's hardware commencing in August 2018.

So the L&T order could have gone/could be going to one or multiple utilities. Which could prove very interesting indeed.

The market may react cautiously. It may just react. But what is significant, I feel, is the speed in which revenue is coming into CyanConnode, from the initial order.

There seems to be " initial groundwork " on infrastructure, that has already been carried out/implemented with this order, for revenue to be recognized so quickly.

The rest, we will have to wait and see what follows.
