It was confirmed during the EESL/Trilliant webinar, that Trilliant had Partnered with TNB, in Malaysia. Mr. Spears also mentioned that they ( Trilliant ) were working with 15 meter brands in Malaysia, but he was not specific on who they were, or whether they were local meter manufacturers or global meter manufacturers.

With the fluctuation of exchange rates, that will always be a consideration and as I have just noticed that I may have previously wrongly deducted the Support & Maintenance contract price from the main contract, the updated corrected figures, as near as I can get it, should be as follows:-

Main contract - $11.6m = £9,245,200.
Already received - R113m = £1,184,240.
Total left - = £8,060,960 ( Over the next 2 years, depending on when they start.)
= £4,030,480 per year.

Support & Maintenance = $2.9m = £2.3m = £460,000 per year. ( After 5 years, or whenever the S&M contract starts.)

In answer to your 11:23 post, with reference to JVVNL, the original RNS from September 2018, informed us that the order came from a " ...... Tier One Metering Partner .... " for " .... an Indian State Owned Utility." So neither were named.

So to answer your question, I would suggest that CyanConnode are not the " lead " on this contract. The Tier One Metering Partner is.

From the RNS dated June 4th, 2020, the Utility has been named as Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. or JVVNL. But the meter manufacturer still does not what their name to be disclosed, I suspect, for their own reasons.

Thank you for the information on Jammu and Kashmir. I have been following the Jammu and Kashmir tender for sometime. The 2 lakh meters was originally reduced due to the availability of funds ( or lack-of ) to 1.15 lakh meters, during last year and was awarded for that figure. With the remainder to be awarded when funds had been sanctioned.

So it would seem from your report, that the whole project is now progressing.

I have noted tonyj's e/mail on Wirepas, but I also followed up with some research of my own.

From the Wirepas website:-

" Wirepas is deployed in significant volumes by 50 utilities in Nordic countries. Wirepas is a connectivity solution designed for large scale deployments, requiring highest reliability and lowest lifetime cost."

So there is a possibility that Connode knew them originally and CyanConnode may possibly also be aware of them, if they are marketing in the same area of business. I seem to remember on one website, Wirepas were located in Finland. There was also a link via a company called BeaconTrax, based in Canada, that markets " Wirepas compatible Beacons and Gateways."

Maybe CyanConnode will come across them in other markets.

From the original EESL/Trilliant webinar, featuring Mr. Saurabh Kumar and Mr. Bryan Spear, I take from the interview that the 1 million smart meter roll-out, possibly originated from a 5 million tender from about 2 years ago and the actual roll-out of the 1 million meters started about 15/16 months ago.

So originally, it could have been part of the multi-million meter tenders originally tabled by EESL, during 2018.

If you look back to your post on Saturday, 6th June, at 13:10, it was you who started the 15p David Johns-Powell connection, coupled with the " I would be happy with a take-over well below that price."

Tonyj put forward various options, which I posted a reply too.

CB posted as though your 15p was a general acceptance to share-holders ( a least to me ) and posted an alternative, which I found more acceptable and agreed with. So posted my agreement.

So it is alright for you to have your opinion on the share-price, but no-one else? Others seem to mention the share price quite regularly. I generally leave it up to them, as there is nothing that share-holders can do about it.

But not " obsessing." Just contributing. If that is alright with you.
