Interestingly, the following RNS regarding inflation was released on 27th October 2022:

Havieron Exploration and Development Update:

'Further optimisation work is underway as part of the Feasibility Study which will contribute to offsetting any potential impact of inflation'

The spot gold price on 27th October was $1656.44

The spot gold price today is $1944.11, and increase of about 17%.

That should help with the cost of inflation.

Football pay is driven by demand in the market - if it was fair, people who work in care homes for example would be top earners, and my local MP would be on minimum wage.

Top flight footballers earn an extraordinary amount of money, but so do top musicians and Hollywood stars who do 'pretending' for a living, in our capitalist society. You could argue 'til the cows came home how unjustified it is, but our system rewards those people whos skills (or popularity) are in demand, despite objections to how worthy that 'skill' is.

This is why hats have to be made of tin foil.

Definitely more buys than sells today - start of the day was a flurry of sells but since then it's been mainly one-way traffic.

Gold price is back over 1900, I'm at a loss as to why this has been (currently) rejected by the markets.

LWHL, that sums it up for me - amazing timing and also some with large amounts too.

I disagree with this - quite a lot depends on the company size and how it impacts its current situation.

For example, a decent discovery hole for a minnow explorer can multibag the stock price.

In terms of WK to Shanta, Shanta @ 100m MCap it it's going to have less impact on SP but I certainly don't think no impact. Some of the drill results have been exceptional, and if more and more high grade gold in the ground is found then the SP should certainly be positively affected.

been disappointed with the way things have gone over the last few months - the momentum has been lost with the 'changing of the guard'. lost momentum with small aim companies isn't great due to cash burn. personally i'm a little underwater here with an average in the 40s, but i've just about enough long term belief that i am going to keep adding periodically to bring that average down. if there is a raise, providing i can see the light at the end of the tunnel, i will continue. i'm here for han**** and work has continued behind the scenes on this. ufo seem to have assembled a team to kick start this again so i'm hoping for a bit of positive news once feet are under the table.
