Ginger, while we're being suspicious - I must admit it crossed my mind that if some were aware of a "Havieron Update" RNS without knowledge of the content, it would be possible they could think it an MRE update and chance it by going in heavy yesterday....
Meanwhile back away from my conspiracy theory, I'm with the poster who said it's back to adding again for the time being....

Ha SaS, I was just thinking aloud after reading those words from Don Durrett!
Meanwhile his article also me an idea. To add a bit of credibility to my contributions, after every post I am going to follow it with "the chance of this paragraph being accurate is nearly 100%."
"We disappear and reappear at about 90,000 times per second"
Speaking of which, where IS Toffers at the moment?
"Do not get too excited folks - spoiler alert; we were here (upswing to 7.9) 5 weeks ago. And how long did that last."
Do you do kids parties?
Don't forget children, your ballons will likely burst later on
"Something must be coming. We never rise like this."
Shares only usually do this when I've just sold them...
I think the market makers have just been trying to spell h-e-l-i-u-m with the share price chart. Today is the 'u', tomorrow an 'm'.
So now you know how to trade it tomorrow....
I didn't mean filling, but you know what I mean!
Likewise - yours and mine ( 82,000 ) are quite close together - they may have been filling for that 235,000 sell at 1.366p.
If it works like that.
I enjoyed the interview too - I've just added again this morning. I was a little surprised I could get some for 1.42ish this morning, I thought it might have ticked up a little bit. I do realise that RB said it'll be a few months before they get all the agreements in place, but in terms of de-risking I think there isn't a vast amount of downside now. A little bit of money is coming in and the future looks bright. I think I will be adding bits and bobs over the next few months.
It's great news that the company has been successful with getting through the environmental applications - it's been a long haul but I do believe this is a significant milestone. Now they can concentrate on their business model. I'm still waiting for the update that gives financial / commercial information, especially for the electric recycling, but this one is a welcome RNS. I though there may be a little more movement upwards in the SP today as it's a significant hurdle that has been removed and gives control back to TM1.
Hi Ben, talking of JV partners, I do find it interesting that RIO have partnered with Greatland in that elusive search for gold. Wouldn't it be interesting if, whilst looking for a gold in the area, 70% of an actual mine suddenly became available, and astonishingly close to where they're looking? Okay so it's one of the longer shots but it is not out of the realms of possibilities - of which there are a lot.
It would be interesting to know what provision Newcrest had already made for decommissioning costs. After all, isn't it part of mine planning? I believe new mines have to have a strategy in place to fund and deal with eventual closure, however far down the line, but I don't know how that stands with Telfer. They closed & re-opened it in 2000 / 2002, so does anyone know what would have happened had they not found new mineral areas to allow a viable restart of production?
Both interesting comments.
Personally I tend to trade minimally ( as I can make companies spike magically by selling!) - I just like to build positions and leave them unless there is clear indications that there is something amiss. I can see the basket price is way down and I expect much weaker results, but I categorise that as cyclic and thus I'm a 'hold' - I will take the divi this time. If what Lynx says comes to pass ( a drop back to 60/70 with Rh continues to climb back up then it will definitely be on my list to add at that price, but not at current price. I think some may be adding pre-exdiv which is helping the climb too.

Just waiting for Newmont's chess move before GGP move their pawn to the end of the board and exchange it for a queen...
In all seriousness, I do feel like this is just a waiting game for GGP - they can't do much until they know what is happening to their flagship asset. Waiting is hard. Glass definitely half full here, and don't like it when people try to knock it over.
Haha Rick - I agree with most of what you have written, although for yourself I think you meant to write "Verdict: Strong Trade" at the bottom....
