I think there is significant relief more than excitement - I am relieved that the worst case scenario has been taken off the table. There are obviously headwinds, but this is always the case. The government has its eye on large profits, but if they want to encourage people to save into pensions and also invest in Shares ISAs, they need to think twice about shafting the shares. They need to be constantly reminded of this.

It's the proverbial "bad day at the office" - and incidentally I've had an actual bad day at the office too.

I think this is seriously overdone, the AISC is important but it's a projection and there are so many other factors.

I'm hoping that the SP now is in "worst case" mode and it'll creep up towards the "offer price" over the coming days, once the dust has settled.
