I hope the Pfizer one is more effective against the SA variant (on 8 Feb, 147 people had the SA variant, and I think some believe that it is causing the UK variant to be less susceptible to the current vaccines).

Nor additions to significant holdings.....

It was not me. I have mentioned Scancell to a few people over the past few months. Who knows, maybe someone did more than just listen and say, yeah....

That is very heartening, and all the more reason to press for getting the 2nd jabs in the correct time period.

A year, from naming to having millions vaccinated - for 1st jabs for most. We can move quickly when we need to do so.

As for myself, I'm in group 6, so I believe I won't get an invite until March through May - only weeks away.

C7, even if I don't get around to writing here, know that I will always wish the best for the results you'll see in the coming months.

Hasiba, re Scancell and progress, from my limited scan of the market, Scancell is the swing trader - when the rest are down, it is up, and vice versa. Happy to hold for now - and as we near 6 April, I'm beginning to hope that the price will stay level so that I can put that many more into my ISA - having an extra ~143k shares free of all taxes would be sweet.

Isn't this what was going on before the last big announcement? Or am I just mis-remembering how it went last time?

I found that last bit interesting. It will be interesting if it shakes up the way flu vaccines are administered as well.

Wearing my "green" hat, I'm all for eliminating the copious amounts of waste we are generating, and so I thought they might combine a flu & covid annual shot for everyone. (may be too early to say cancer vaccine shot as well)

I'm just a little concerned about the efficacy of the delivery methods and look forward to the exploration as to the most effective delivery method.
