No, it hasn’t gone. At ~16:21 on BBC news, after R numbers, infections not down, etc., there was a brief mention of LFT’s. To summarise – BBC reported results show LFT results vs. PCR OK, Guardian reported results show not OK, problem is (says BBC) no ‘big data’ released by Govt.
So (maybe) a good story for next week – analysis of data on LFT results shows 1.0 tests (aka Innova ***) not too great, enter 2.0 tests – massive improvement in S&S, made in UK by consortium of leading UK diagnostic companies, with the support of your govt. Also, 3.0 tests in the pipeline, ready for the next variants and other new viruses, again from your govt. And that is a good thing, from your govt.
