I think Daz has a point that Kodal might well split and then JV on the Li. But who knows, no thought HZM would get as far as they have 5 years ago and they are on the verge of financing and going alone morphing from a explorer to a minor. Anything can happen, all depends on BA now and the team he starts to gather around him! (A JV is my suspicion though :} )

Agreed last I read Li is to raise 600% in price come 2030 even with all the junior miners coming online. My point is watch the price of Li as they do and see how it effects their SP. Not saying I'm right about the SP dropping after production but it could. Either way with a 600% increase in Li on the horizon we'll be doing better than we are now!

The gold element to KOD of course adds a layer of complexity, not that I'm complaining. Again the world price levels of gold will effect our SP if we have a decent amount. On a plus side from what I understand world price levels of commodities are currently cycling through when of their lows and are under valued. Li certainly has been undervalued until this year due to an excess in the supply chain in 2018/19. That has changed now with EVs coming online. Still the point is keep an eye on the bigger picture which sometimes explains why the SP moves as it does. This will come far more into play when we are further along though! :}

True about patients though, all good things come to those who wait! I'll not be selling on the licence but have reflected when to sell off course. What will be interesting is the point at which this share really starts to follow the price of lithium. There is the conundrum, waiting to sell on production could see the sp drop compared to the build up. The reason being with more Li in the market the price will drop. This could also effect the sp before (if) KOD reaches production. When the likes of Lithium Americus Corps and Baconora (if they ever get the deal sorted) comes online Li prices will likely drop.

So if we get the licence and the JV, keep an eye on the other players and the global price of Li as it could effect us :) :b :D

Just a combination of events, also don't forget there is the ongoing trouble in Northern Mali with Islamist fundamentals. But like the coup it will blow over. My opinion is leave Afghanistan to the Afghans, the more we meddle the worse it all seems to get in the long run. History tends to agree to, no one in over 2000 years has managed to take that land. I feel for the average person out there though, they must be so worn by it all!

Let's all be clear when the RNS detailing the final financing lands this giant of am AIM share will stir into life so quickly, blink and you'll miss it! Today's RNS was just an opening of the giant's eyes and a little stretch. When the full one lands this will re-rate so quickly you'll not get a second chance!

Failure is just a way of learning, some times to be humble and sometimes as the path to success, sometimes the two go hand in hand.

Much like BCN. Mali might be a different kettle of fish though as do the Chinese want to share the risk or not in Africa. Our chumbs next door Fire Finch have a joint venture. But I take your point. Personally I think the mining licence has been partially priced into the current SP but not fully given it is Mali and all the instability that comes with it. If it lands I'll see where the SP goes. I know two things about Chinese investors:

1) They want the Li and don't care where the SP goes after.
2) They will buy in or take over for as little as they can get away with.

So if BA is all about the money, a JV might actually be more appealing. Then again if he is the take and run sort then that's that as they say.

Realistically I still feel this share will bounce on the licence but to where who knows!!

Two key points are

1. The gold estimate to come in the autumn.
2. A joint venture on the Lithium mine.

Both are still looking promising. Bash this share all you like but those two cards are still on the table!

Also, if the elections next February in Mali run smoothly (I won't be holding my breath) and a democracy is formed this will help to de-risk the venture. This is out of everyone's hands though!

Auntie Dazaliam nice to see you on here. I thought you were just a weekender? Long term, short term, sell on a peak or hold to my mind that is individual choice and personally I make my own!

Thanks Daz, that gives me a ball park to play in where I have in mind to get out. I'm also in HZM which is looking very good, so depending where that is and reinvestment opportunities might decide it. Either way good to know this is primarily an Li driven venture. A peak on the licence is looking likely but as you say AIM is an unpredictable beast and this share could sore for longer than expected on just sentiment! A strong hold for now at least!

Just to add I also don't feel HZM will sell out before production. They just seem in too strong a position to need to do that. I was in BCN and they were basic in comparison to all the work HZM have done. BCN sold out to Gangfeng (in the process of but it looks in the bag) but HZM just doesn't feel like that at all. Let's hope HZM can take this all the way to production and become one of the world's largest nickle producers at the forefront of the EV revolution. No one will be remotely wondering about 30p a share then let alone 6p. Hold on now I say!

Love the banter on here but more seriously what people's view on where and when to sell on, let's hope, decent gold news. I remember watching GGP when it was just under 3p. I was new to investing at the time and thought it had peaked. Oh how wrong I was 37p later I saw the mistake I'd made. However, mistakes are perhaps the best form of learning. There is a lot of talk of 1p, 2p, 3p, 4p or even 5p which seems largely lithium orientated and on a quick peak. The gold though could be different beast, GGP was a slow but steady burner 0.5p a day here 0.25p a day there sometimes a 1p jump but it went up steadily day by day for a fair amount of time. So, could KOD be a similar fish? Thoughts?

I'm in agreement that a quick bounce back is likely. We don't fully know what is really going on with this seller and the AIM certainly peaks and dips but for now that's the game we are in.

The fundermentals haven't changed though:
+ The nickle is in the ground and HZM own it.
+ Nickle is in demand and this is set to increase.
+ HZM are in the best position to mine the nickle.
+ HZM are in the advanced stages of finance and off take agreements.
+ The mines are financially viable in terms of debt to set up ratio given they have good mining life prospects.

So, this doesn't strike me as take over territory as HZM is so advanced now. So as long as HZM hold on to the land and can get the ball rolling on the construction phase I'm really not that bothered by this dip. Such is life on the AIM sometimes. With any luck a year or so from now HZM, all going well, will make a move up to the main markets where we'll see steady growth and more stability.

Whoever thinks shares are boring should invest in KOD, anything but! Love this share, no end of dramas. Joking aside let's hope for some top gold results and good license news soon!

P.S. that should be Gangfeng made an offer but in my opinion a lot went on behind the scenes and they are very likely to get it across the line.
