Thanks everyone for your posts, all very helpful and I feel more up to speed now with where BRES is at. The market cap is tiny given the potential and I'm averaging 5.22p a share at the mo, not too worried at anything around the 5p mark so will be topping with some of tomorrow's pay day. Just to add my views, I really like that this not AIM, makes a change for an explorer and that the DFC are involved. I can see a pathway to finance then construction. A great opportunity I feel. Even a take out should still be at a far higher price than 5p so all in all a good looking risk!
Oh OK, I got that from their website https://blencoweresourcesplc.com/orom-cross-project/ "DFS... target completion 2023" So, this is not the case then?
I'm looking to top up but wondered if the DFS is going to be delayed by a month or so which may cause a drop in the SP and a better buying opportunity. On the other hand if the DFS does drop before the year is out I'd rather buy this coming week. So, I'm curious to know valid people's opinions on this. I've been around a while in exploration/junior mining shares so I'm very aware of rampers/derampers, so credible opinions only thanks.
I find that generalisation of autistic people and those with adhd quiet offensive to be honest. I work with teenagers with autism and I can tell you with no hesitation of doubt that they are all different, and to say they don't have empathy is a disappointing comment. Some struggle with empathy, others are full of it. They have their moments like the rest of us. So I would politely ask if you could refrain from referencing people with autism/adhd in a negative sense as to be honest it reflects quite badly on yourself. But this is not a weapon now to be used against Clueless, just please everyone refrain from inaccurate stereotypes. Thanks

I haven't commented in ages, but have been keeping a close eye on everything. All I can say is I definitely would not want to be out of this over the weekend or coming few weeks. The next RNS is most, most, most likely to be the finance confirmation! Good luck to all long term investors who've been through all the coups and survived to this point; great patience and sticky hands!
BorderBob, I have to disagree with this one. Transport expenses for mining material is a massive overhead which can really dent the profitability of a mine. GGP could be facing issues with this over in the world of gold! Stellantis the owners of the Vauxhall car manufacturers in the UK are talking about leaving the UK to be closer to where the Lithuim might come from to cut costs in that area. So, it is an issue miners face. BHL being close to the giga factories will certainly be a factor that is positive for them. Oh and they are not just transporting 15kg, we are talking about 1000s if not 100s of 1000s if not 1,000,0000s of batteries for EV cars being produced. Factor that in and it is a major cost, so BHL looks like a good investment from all the other research I've done. Each to their own though!
Glad to hear there will be no churn, I was just going on my experience with other shares. I'd be very happy with a lift on the news of confirmation on the funding and then another nice lift on the first drawdown of the cash to get construction underway. The ideal in my opinion would be the first RNS released on April 4th or 5th, catch the last of the tax year investors then get a whole load more investment on April 6. That would be a happy Easter!!!
In my opinion, even if the RNS drops Monday with news the cash has all been agreed upon, it will likely take another 10 days to get to the account and the 0.5 shares to be placed. Then we'll have a period of churning through the $17 million worth of new shares while we wait for construction to begin. The SP I think will only really start to move on the first drawdown of cash from the $100 million that initiates that start. Realistically, that could be a good month or so away.
So, float away in the Philippines or where ever you are! A good time to do this!!! GLA
You are going to hate me, but I loaded up 6 days before the JV news via the sale of a couple of other holdings that weren't doing so well. Even taking account of my small loses in those holdings by KOD average is still 0.25p. Got lucky I guess! But yes loading up again certainly isn't a bad move at all; I'm out of spare cash though now and want to keep my other holdings in GGP, SAV and BHL. Good move though Daz423 and everyone else!
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend - what??? I wouldn't want to be out of this over the next two years, what lunatic would sell anytime soon at all! This has mid market cap written all over it!!
Questions I wanted clarity on now things have calmed a little on the board are:
1) Is the JV just for the DMS and the Li that can go through that only? In other words can KOD via it's profits on the JV develop the floatation plant and process Li KOD has the rights too on the current concessions and keep those profits?
2) Does the JV only account for the current Li resources and/or inferred? In other words if KOD find more on the other Bougouni concessions do they then have that 100%?
I wasn't keen either on the sale of Bougouni West but perhaps there's good reason for it. The gold mention surprised me more as I wasn't expecting it to play that big a role bit looks like there could be value in it.
Any clarity on my questions would be appreciated. Cheers
My biggest take away from the news is the fact KOD still own 100% of the land and Lithium that will need to go through the larger floatation plant. KOD can pay the £150 milliom to build this via the money raised from the joint venture DMS. Plus they have all the other Li prospects to price up. BA is playing this very well. In 5 years KOD could have a market cap well in excess of £2 billion. It's looking very good!!!
Massive news, and once construction starts after the first draw down of the finance that is when, I suspect we'll see the real jump in the SP. As for those lot, they probably did have shares and were just trying to get the price down. I'd rather sleep easy at night!
