Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
No probs Wolf, I actually have in mind to play the 10% game but at the other end, once all going well KOD is in production. That's just my strategy, take a look at Liontown Resources and how very rapidly things can turn for the up with Li. I started in BCN originally in the low 20s and that shot to 67p on one RNS. Sadly the board there sold us all out but KOD I feel have a far different management attitude; they have their skins in the SP game with us. We all make our own choices though. Good luck all!
Also, Wolf no disrespect meant bur the long term hold here is a valid one. Traditionally precious metal commodities grew around 2% a year and explorers were at the mercy of the majors to get anything out the ground. Lithium has a growth of around 20% to 30% annually and the explorers who own the stuff can now be playing the majors off each other for the best deal. Lithium explorer shares can now move incredibly quickly. Basically I'm saying I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend. DYOR
The problem with sell and buy back can be that you miss the big jump that can well happen with AIM shares. KOD has all the hall marks of such a share, sell today for 10% and then there is every chance you'll miss a big jump with the right RNS. Take a look at Iron Ridge, if I remember correctly, when that did a sudden jump. Each to their own though, so don't critise us investors Mr Wolf who prefer the long game. All personal preference.
I was half expecting an RNS this morning but yep I agree KOD hasn't been a leaking ship (HZM has holes drilled through it left right and centre) so perhaps just a natural correction. I'm holding until at least Bougouni West is priced and we are well on our way to production! We could be seeing the last of the 0.2s now, hopefully!
I'm certainly grateful for everyone's feedback/input and I do enjoy a bit of maths so will be going over everything to double check I've made a good investment choice here. I believe I have and wish luck too all! If anyone wants advice on Kodal Minerals in the Lithium game I'm happy to share what I know. Thanks all!
Cool I just done the calculations around 2.9 million ounces of gold against the aus dollar and the uk pound and price of gold. All makes sense now. Perhaps the Motelt Fool should do the same. I'm comfortable with my investment to date and look forward to an interesting end of 2022 and 2023!
Thanks guys, I can see where the $1.2bn value came from too, £60mil is 5% of $1.2bln but then SD did offer to buy the 5% for $85mil. The other investors coming in at 9p also speaks that they'll want a significant return for their investments: they don't invest at that level expecting a loss. I know all the markets are down anyway but I'm happy to hold until production and hopefully the results in Nov 2023 from the recent exploration grant. I'll have a good read through also of the links sent and look forward to the FS even if it will be on the conservative side, they usually are! Cheers and anymore comments/insights would be appreciated.
The GGP website I don't find wonderfully clear on this. I invested because of the potential and overall target prices looked healthy. I just now want to verify what the fools at MF have stated. Many thanks if anyone in the know can help. Thanks
I usually do but how much worth of gold is known to be there at present. Also, if Newcrest own 70% of Hav via GGP then is that 70% separate from our Market Cap and share price. I'm invested here at 13.8p average, a holding of 120,000 share and I don't usually invest in gold (lithium is my thing) so would appreciate any help on the calcs here. I also appreciate the potential for expansion in the Hav deposit as well as further finds via their other concessions, hence I invested. Good comments would be appreciated. Thanks LB
I'm not a Hugh fan of the Mootly Fool, often I just think they are fools, however is this article correct in saying there is $1.2bn of gold there? I thought there was a lot more! Good feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Or another way to put is get us to 1p to earn your first payout share option, then the next chunk is based on how ever high you can get the Sp. If this is the case, I'm like this a lot. First target 1p then keep on going!!!
Cheers too Paris and good luck!
A break is always good from these speculation boards, some very well informed speculation of course, but speculation all the same. Knowing this is important whatever kind of investor you are!
I'm not in Prem by the way, as I feel the Market Cap is too high for where they are with the project, but it is on my watch list.
Viva la Kodal!!!
Haha, I'm not a big Run D-M-C fan but just being realistic about the budget. Would actually prefer the Rolling Stones... may we could get a Stones tribute band in and play Paint it KOD or Sympathy for Kodal?
I don't mind admitting I got it wrong. A new company to deal with the Li from Bougouni will need to be formed. Makes a lot of sense to from the Malian gov point of view: they get the profits from the Li mind avoiding the ups and downs of exploration.
Looking at FFX I found the documents detailing the share entitlement with LLL for the existing shareholders in FFX. So, as current KOD shareholders we'd automatically get shares in the new company formed if this all goes the same way, if I've understood this correctly.
KOD is of course different from FFX in that KOD has more unexplored concessions, so might go a very different way SP wise longterm. Very much appreciated people's knowledge on here, must do as I very rarely post on the weekends!!! Enjoy the rest of it!
