I have written to Kodal about this asking them to put in an automated system on their web page that tracks the price of Li Spod. Please do the same, the more voices from share holders the better!

I've written to both Kodal and their web company about this. Their prices based on $680/t spod, current price $960/t spod. I've suggested an automated function on the website that tracks the price of spod and updates the website automatically. Please do back me up with letters/emails on this. The more voices the better!

The directors most likely have a fair idea of what's coming so I think it very unlikely they'd accept shares at 0.31/0.36 if further dilution was on the cards. A JV is looking the most likely reading between the RNS lines. How it's financial structure will be we don't know but I'm comfortable now the SP will leave the 0.30s in the near future never to return!

Directors getting shares at around 0.31 to 0.36 tells me one thing: they expect the shares to go up in value! Liking what I've read today, we're all, whatever our motives are, on the Good Ship Kod together. Happy fishing days ahead!

Letters on their way, written on quality ivory paper, signature in ink, sent in quality ivory envelopes, addresses hand written in ink pen, Kodal got "The Adventures of the Speckled Band" stamp, their web designers got "The Red-Headed League" nice Sherlock themed stamps.

P.S. if I offended anyone with my reports from Afghanistan via my friend I do sincerely apologise. I did have to look into his eyes and see the weariness and pain of what's happened to his land. Always different when it is a real person in front of you as opposed to a News report on TV. He just wants everyone just to leave his land alone now to sort itself out. Whether it's right or wrong I could fully empathise with him. Will try and keep off of politics on this board all the same. Thanks.

Letter written, one to Robert Wooldridge and a copied in their PR advisors at St Brides Partners. Will let you all know if I get a reply. Hopefully they'll consider an automated update function to the price of Li2O spodumene concentrate!

Cool ok, I'll put together a letter but I'll avoid to much detail. It will be 2-3 sentences "why am I writing?" Next paragraph 3-5 sentences with the detail. Last paragraph 2 sentence "what I'd like them to do next". They'll know the figures far better than us so it will focus more on the benefits of updating the website!

I have to agree, the website isn't doing them justice. I raised this the other day that really their price of Li on the site needs to follow the actual price of Li on the LME. It wouldn't cost them a lot to get this automated. Why don't we all email in suggested this and see if they take the bate?

Guys and girls I found this link, interesting to see that LME has a dedicated page now the mineral used in EV production. They certainly focus in on Lithium and update prices every Friday.

I do think it would be useful if KOD updated their website price estimates on their Li to reflect the increasing Li prices due to demand. So, much potential here at Kodal!

Could Kod smash the 1p mark on licence and get closer to the 2p? Is there any reason why not as our value does appear closer to 2p what with the gold as well. Thoughts

Viggo, no offense taken. The board had an issue with a Fastjet and we've been keeping our eyes open for his return under a different name. You're of course undoubtedly entitled to your opinions as we all are. The problem with Fastjet was he was a blatant ramper deramper when it suited his needs. So, I guess when we see a new posted raising concerns, we just get a little jittering it's old Fastjet back again. Totally understand your concerns though with Northern Mali. I do feel it is entirely different to the other situation (not to go over it again). That's no offence, my mistake.

Interestingly enough my friend didn't disagree that things might get worse but he can't say for sure. He hope's things settle and that some peace comes to his lands.

Let's hope it does and that Mali doesn't flare up either, it looks far less likely based on what I can make out.

Actually I support the Dalia Lama and free Tibet but Afghanistan is an altogether different land. I've only reported what I've heard, neither in support or against what's happening just that it is more complex and not as black and white as what the media are reporting. That's all, don't shoot the messenger! My friend did agree the Taliban are terrible on women's rights, but also pointed out shop traders have already reported more women going out to shop as they feel safer under Taliban rule. Not black and white that's all. Mali is different too, so I don't think it is a good idea to confuse the two.

As I said I'm only reporting what I've heard on the ground from the Pushtoon point of view. What my friend did make clear is the Taliban grew in numbers while America occupied Afghanistan. This was due to the Taliban having one policy which was to get America out. His view was that the US staying was in fact fuelling the situation, them leaving gives Afghanistan a chance of sorting itself out in the way it wants. Just a different perspective than the Western view. He did say the Taliban can't be trusted and that Afghanistan is a savage land, but no one in 2000+ years has tamed it so best leave it to the tribes. Just another perspective. As for the extremists in Northern Mali, he said they are entirely different and have no wide spread support within Islam. I always think it is worth listening to other's point of view. My friend did say give it all a couple of months to settle down, time will tell.

Lucky my old Uni mate is Pushtoon then and explained the Afghan situation to me from his perspective. I won't go into details but the confusion we make is not understanding the tribal hierarchy of Afghan society. Nothing to do with militant extremists just a lack of understanding on our part. Anyhow no surprise Fartface is back!

Absolutely none comparable. Taliban are part of the Pushtoon tribe who have a 45% majority in Afghanistan. I think we get confused about how tribal societies organise themselves. But the point is Taliban are political where as the trouble in the North of Mali is caused by a very small minority who are actually not really liked by the majority of Muslims. A very different kettle of fish indeed!

Afghanistan and Mali are very different. I have a good friend who is Pushtoon, the major tribe of 5 in the Afghan region. What we are seeing on the news is a very distorted picture of what's happening on the ground. Taliban are not ISIS and their reasons for so quickly taking control are complex. His point of view is it is better having the Taliban than the Americans, he feels it should be Afghans running Afghanistan come what may and no one else. The Western news isn't reporting it but a great many Afghans have welcomed the change, women included, they feel safer walking the streets with the Taliban in charge. In no way though does he say they can be trusted and could turn nasty at any time but he Hope's things will settle in the coming months. The trouble in the North of Mali is entirely different, a group of extremists not in anyway collected together enough to take over a country. Our SP took a sip as people sell on such fears. The likelihood is things will settle. Please note the above is not my views just what I've heard coming out from on the ground on Afghanistan.
