Thank you, RichRich. As for the other more regular contributors, I appreciate the direct (and prompt) feedback.
Just the one question, perhaps with the intent of keeping our assessment grounded in reality, rather than allowing our collective chats to take us to unrealistic expectations. I bought in in 2008 at just over 7p, although I've averaged down a fair bit with further buys at the end of last year. If we look at the director deals page, Messrs Zakroff, Davenport, and Goddard have (what must be classified as) modest holdings, a significant fraction of which were bought at around the 8p levels of 4-5 years back. My question is this: if the short-term prospects of HDD are indeed good (which I suspect, or at least hope), why did none of these directors (aside a still modest purchase by Davenport in Dec11) buy in at the sub-1p levels we have seen over the last few months? [noting that directors cannot deal with the "closed period" http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/closeperiod.asp#axzz1lzi85afl]
Any thoughts on this, anyone?
