MisterPositive: can you perhaps explain more why you are quite so upbeat? SANDSTORM has a portfolio of 155 streams and royalties, of which Hot Maven/Mariana will be just one. Even so, their SP has drifted down from around 8-10$ 5 years ago, to around 4$ today. I see no reason at all for much optimism. HM will still be only a relatively minor contribution to their future income stream. What have I missed? Cordially Lionel

MissG: I guess the deafening silence tells you something... may be only that we have no idea. I believe we get that cash handout, 28p per share, and four MARL shares are swapped for 1 SANDSTORM (approximately). Then SANDSTORM spins off an exploration company where we can all get shafted again. Still in WRES, BTW, that's another disappointing holding, non? Cordially Lionel

@samewise: SANDSTORM is trading at 4.04$ = 3.15£. 0.2573 of a SANDSTORM share is therefore 81p. Add the 28.75p cash per share, and you arrive at 109p. Sorry... Cordially Lionel

I am hugely disappointed at this giveaway price. Am I correct that we're also "losing" Ergama and Cote d'Ivoire? Nicely put, Team83. That's a very fine holding, I must say. I've been in a few years myself, and it's not been looking too promising at times, but now things are really looking up. I've felt, for a long time, that their future was tied to the Airbus approval. Almost unbelievable that we finally have it, as I'm sure that it will transform the prospects going forward. This is really very good news. The coating requirements for Airbus must be particularly stringent, and Hardide is to be congratulated on reaching this very important milestone. This must also open the doors for other users, and in particular other aerospace industries, to view Hardide's coatings so much more positively and securely. Let's hope this is the start of some good long-term developments. I'm quite deeply in here, and have some way to go to get back to my averaged buy-in price (1.40p). I'm hoping we get there... The share placing announced on 16 August must have been taken up 50% by Hargreave Hale, who (I conclude) would have to have put in an additional £500k, and increased their holding in the company to above 12%. This seems to be a hugely strong signal of the future potential of the company. Can any of our long term posters add anything more? Any insight into what is going on behind the scenes with the Hard Chrome Plating ban coming in in a few months? Any insight into HDD's order books, or status of the Airbus approval? Cordially Lionel

They presently have a GBX 2.10 ($0.03) target price on the stock.
