Probably many on this ShareShat are wily old investors, perhaps some are less knowledgable, so let me pass on this tip. Since last year ISAs can hold AIM stocks, and ISAs are free of CGT. I just moved some HDD held outside my ISA into my ISA. To do this you have to sell and buy back, but you don't have to incur the big spread (=loss) quoted by the Market Makers... a good broker can speak nicely to a good MM (I think this is how it works), and since there is no risk for the MM, they can do the switch at a fixed share price (sell price=buy price), and just charge a (smallish) fixed price, £50 or so in my case, to do the deal. For those of looking for a big rise in the SP, this could be worth considering...
