This share seems to be really motoring now. Like many people, I rather wish I had got in earlier but who knows how far the company will go? Like ITM Power, it joined the 90% club a few years ago but its prospects have recently been appreciated again by the market. The licensing model looks interesting and with partners like Bosch on board the future has a more solid feel about it.

It does sound as though they are waiting for someone ??

It wouldn't do the PM's image much harm either so there is a good chance he will do it

Thanks for the links Bilbo. It does seem surprising that BA haven't gone with Airbus, their main short-haul supplier, butmaybe they are just spreading the risk.

I today's Times there is a short article about a partnership deal between BA and Zero Avia, a US/UK aviation company which has developed the world's first hydrogen powered passenger plane. The aim is to have a 20 seater with a 500 mile range in the air by 2023 and a 1000 mile range by 2030.

Good to see another upgrade. The company has suffered rather from the fog generated by the vaccine controversy but investors should really be concentrating on the prospects for the oncology and immunology programmes, which is where the future profits lie.

I have been watching this company for what seems like a lifetime so it's interesting to see it finally take off. I opted for ITM Power well before the Dark Ages and it has done the better of the two over time. An investment in both companies last year would have been provident as it turns out but they have floundered for so many years that not many would have had the confidence to do that. I think both CWR and ITM have a great future and well done to anyone who had the vision to stay with them.

I agree Mucker, it would be comforting to see some orders. They used to say never buy on an order or sell on a strike but a few orders would be nice right now.......

I guess they will want everything to be in place for the opening. A false start wouldn't be good for the company image

All signed up. Hopefully this might have some influence on govt policy. It has been pointed out by the industry that a kick start is what is all that's needed before the private sector takes on the investment required.

It's depressing that so much attention is focused on EV in the UK, since for many people electric charging simply isn't a practical option. Other countries seemed to have grasped this. I wonder if we will ever catch up.

SSE is the obvious choice if you want a listed renewable operator, though there are alternatives, as Bilbo has indicated. SSE is solid and uninspiring - it won't make you a fortune but you won't lose your shirt on it either. It's well managed and knows its market, having been in it longer than most

The Covid vaccine is something of a sideline for AstraZeneca, their most important drugs are in the oncology and immunology areas, which have further potential for growth. Those will be the ones to watch

I am inclined to agree Bilbo, Linde is the most likely candidate. As you say, they are already in there

Agree completely Toneman. Companies like ITM are the future and it's important to be part of them, regardless of the vagaries of the share price. With hindsight 20p would have been a great entry point but the important thing is to stay in there, whatever price you originally paid. Orders will presumably materialise, hopefully sooner rather than later!
