STOCKHOLM (Direct) Smart Eye has received a so-called design win from a major OEM manufacturer in China. The order value is expected to exceed SEK 100 million.

The production of the car model that Smart Eyes technology will be included is expected to start next year.

This is stated in a press release.

The above order value refers to the initial car model and is based on the product's expected life cycle volume. Successful migration of the initial order to subsequent car models for the same OEM manufacturer can lead to revenues in excess of SEK 500 million. This is a potential scenario that depends on future design wins with this OEM manufacturer, writes Smart Eye.

This is the first time that Smart Eye gets a design win outside the European premium market.

Has this bb run it's course.?
A year ago we had knowledge of off road some fleet and probably a car oem.
Now we know the progress of fleet, know we have 4 oem cars and more are coming, know we are expecting an aero contract and know we are expecting a big rail contract.
So the question is are we just sitting waiting on rns's and updates?
We know soldout will continue his inane drivil as he struggles with his own major mistake. By now everyone knows what he is but get annoyed as he bigs up poor competitors as equal to SEE.
So the real research has dried up, not for any other reason other than most of it has been done and we sit waiting on news.
The SP has done very well for those that didnt panic and sell out. We know there is a long way to go but we wait on rns's or a buyout.

Someone - if they have the time should draw the Smarteye chart and the Fotonation chart (probably wont take long anyway) and we can compare and contrast?

1. Smarteye accordiing to the press release dated 18 June says they have this month (June) 2 smarteye cars have been released - I see the press are all over that - and as for the Sept 2017 car with Smarteye kit ?
SEYE SP is down 32% since Sept 17 and 8.5% down since the 2 smarteye cars press release in June.

2. Denso made such a mess of their DMS that they had to get fotonation involved to try to fix it - and as we all know fotonation are smartphone experts with real life experience of just that. Iphone support tell you to use the 4 digit code if holding the phone 20cms from your face doesn't work. What would they give for the many years of practical and real life IP that SEE have.

Veoneer earnings release Q2 2018 are to be published on 27th July. So currently they are in a "Silent Period - No meetings will be arranged with media, investors or analysts in advance of the quarterly results."

They usually do a quarterly presentation so look out for news in that......

Interesting podcast. The implication for a driver is that each one will have to consent to allow their data to be passed on (probably sold on) to a 3rd party by OEMs. Its fraught with privacy issues but as Seeing2020 points out the value of the big data that SEE has already is very valuable.
The IP that SEE has isn't taken in to consideration by any of the broker notes. Only the BOD know what its real worth is.... shouldn't give it away cheap i would expect.

Alex I can find statistics to counter anything you say, even % loss if I sold shares at 7p if you want. You are seriously saying that a company that has had accidents shouldn't use technology to try to prevent it just because it is SEE tech and you hate the people on this board so much it eats away at what time you have left on this earth that you can't stay away from here? I think someone here said that over the next 6 months or so we should be expecting, auto OEM wins, Aviation win, large rail win, and a sprinkling of fleet wins just to get to christmas - different beast come the new year.....
