Oh I don't know I suppose we all feel 2020/21 is the year for Auto. The OEM's have to make decisions very soon so the RNS's for all eye tracking DMS suppliers will start to flow soon.

Of course if anyone here is fixated on auto (as well as legislation) they would be dismissing the other massive markets currently - what's that coming down the track! Is it a bird or is it a plane ? DYOR please

People need to stop worrying about whether legislation will be mandated or not - clearly the OEM's are moving with great speed to enable eye tracking DMS. It's important for SEE investors to focus on what is actually happening rather than speculation about something in the future that may or may not happen.

For those that are worried about legislation - keep worrying about it and SEE, SEYE and (FOTO) will keep counting the DMS wins between now and then. (And of course SEE will also count the fleet, Rail, Aviation wins as well)

It's clear that some are worried about legislation that is some way off - may happen - may not happen.
Between now and then what appears to be happening?

Several OEM's have stated they will use eye tracking DMS from SEE and SEYE (and FOTO) in many models from 2020 on - FACT

EuroNcap - OEM's are working towards the pathway irrespective of what the legislation is currently .- FACT

So even if you believe that legislation may say a coffee cup is fine or keep your hands on the wheel is fine - many of the world's OEM's can't and won't rely on legislation catching up on reality.

Its great that Semicast tweeted the SEE chart. Lets a lot more people known that SEE are in several different areas and not just in auto. Might surprise a few.

Back in Nov 2017 there were two operators from TFL chosen to look at driver fatigue/distraction. Each was working with a different technology supplier. SEE were believed to be working with one of them.
The studies come to an end summer 2018.

Denso brought in FN to "improve" their existing DMS offering. I would expect that if they have a testing setup of SEE tech they are saying to themselves - match that or we can buy it off the shelf with another Tier1 and not have to wait.

I also expect that that point has arrived and Toyota have made their decision based on what they have seen. Just my opinion of course.

It good to see companies like Ford (the mass market) are taking safety in their stride......

I would expect that if there is anyone talking to SEE at present or in the near future they will be directed to Jack. A bid could come out of the blue any day now as the realisation dawns that L2 , L3 and L4 are the mass markets and will be around probably for decades.......I think Semicast got it right......

The safestocks article was great. Anyone who thinks that L4 or L5 are coming to a road near you soon is delusional. Yes maybe in a very controlled environment but not much beyond that - and of course L4 will still have to hand back to the driver.

Yes and they are not even trying to hide what they are doing - same pattern each day.
They are accumulating shares for some reason.
