None of us knows with any degree of certainty which is why I always think of ranges (like spud + 1 week = 2-3.5p), even then it's guesswork. If all goes well (2 good flows, 1 good shallow prospect and an oily HRZ core) then maybe 5.5-9.5p but we'll have to wait until April-May for that.

If this flows at 100+ on both flowtests, and maybe good indications from one of the shallow targets, then I'd be surprised if we did not spike above 5p. Then again, Bdog made no mention of the HRZ coring - this time we will be going through its heart, not on the bitumenised edge. That is what I am waiting for, that is real paydirt.

If that were the case, we'd be better off dismantling the rig and shipping it via Pack-a-Yak.
As long as it gets to the pad on time and budget they can use Paw Patrol if they prefer.

Final results are due in April, before then I suspect we will just get some basic information like "as expected", "slightly better", "disappointing", "above expectation". As mentioned, DW may have to address "leaks", but assuming the crew behave themselves, he will manage expectations in his usual conservative way.

We have already been told that on their own the shallower targets are probably not going to give us sufficient information to be able to declare them commercially viable. We are only scraping the edge of some of these targets, so it would be silly to expect more than the gathering of data. If the lower targets justify further exploration and horizontal fracking, then with the infrastructure costs covered, the shallower targets may be worthy of exploitation (maybe). The shallow targets are of neutral interest until we know how the deep targets perform. I would hope most LTH's already know this, but newbies are at risk of being misled by the disingenuous amongst us. Between spud and the first 10,000 feet, I suspect the sp will gradually ramp up, so I'm for holding fast to my own strategy, and not falling for the boom and bust influences of short term traders. Assuming that one day the Alaskan Government decide to honour the rebates, I hope they will pay interest on the delayed finance. Either way, DW has managed our finances very well, and the bank has provided loans using the rebates as security. This means that when the rebates do arrive, they will go first to the bank to repay the loan and any outstanding interest, and the surplus will then be handed over to 88e. This will not be an earth shattering amount, but should be enough to pay up a few director bonusses, and put coffee and chocolate biscuits in the boardroom for a few years to come.
I saw the "Ice Road video" on HC earlier - the road was quite wide, but there again, once they lay a single track any subsequent snow fall will be pushed to the side by snowploughs - so the road will be much wider when they move the rig off-site than when it moved on.
Only 4 more weeks to go for the spud, so hoping for a steady rise in sp up to then - preferable to a roller coaster ride, and a good basis for post spud FOMO.

The AD VFN screen timeout is variable. At busy times you are lucky to get it fir 3 seconds. I suspect it lasts for say, 10 trades so as I have 20 on my watch list it only takes seconds. Best way for me is to capture the screen and paste it to a Word document.

The rig is probably the widest vehicle to trundle down the ice-road. The road is probably single-track so once the rig gets onto it no other vehicle will be able to use the road unless they have built a few "passing places" (which is probably low priority, unless they have a particularly high snowfall during construction). Around the same time they will be delivering crew quarters, stores, generators, lighting, kitchen, medical centre, etc, If it were me, I'd probably want all this peripheral stuff delivered before the rig so the compound can be constructed while the rig catches up.

I'm sure you are aware that such actions, intentional or otherwise, will mislead those naive investors who mistakenly rely on the research of others. FYI the highest sp recorded for 88e is 4.3p - I know because I had finger poised to top slice at 4.7, when the direction changed. Brombarb has addressed your latest misdemeanors so maybe you and other newcomers should start to take your information from the more recent company sanctioned output. This includes the latest audio recording from the London presentation, including Q&A's, which while not a company publication, was given the green light from DW before public release.

If prices are up and our production is up, we could be on a roll during 2020. I'm sure this will regain its former position, but it often takes a little longer. From memory, January results tend to set the scene for the rest of the year (with Cashews income stream, that may change) but there are always variables that can cause plans to divert. Someone mentioned a trading statement due next week, so not long to wait, depending of how much spin is added. One thing I'm sure of - we cannot dip much more. The only way is up.

Call me oldfashioned, but a CR via sticky fingered II's is more likely that ever. The Sophs just sell off stock they already hold and then replenish at a discount. Similar thing happened with a rights issue to PI's in the past but the shares not taken, had to be offered to Sophs to take up the slack - so it's a lot more work.
Once the Institutions are assured that the oil is recoverable the sp will find a new level and become more stable too. All we need is a good result for the 2 targets and we're off !

Pbody, I am confused by your comments. Such sweeping, ill considered, statements. I am a 2.5p avg holder (well, my Sipp is 2.4 avg actually), and I am certainly not prepared to take 30% on top - 300%, and I'd start getting interested. I do not disagree with this share being in the "pennies" category, but my sights are set on generous double figures, where it seems you are content not to attain full value. Fortunately, PMO, Bex and 88e expertise appear to me to be pursuing a path that will deliver the maximum return for me. If you are content to jump ship early, it's your money, as it is my choice to hold for a better return. That is not to say I will still be holding quite as much stock as current - will need a new car before long, so each to their own choices.

Pros, I've been embedded for a good few weeks now, and have no expectation of any "fails" in this drilling campaign. There are several targets and as many objectives. We are touching the peripheries of several targets where there will be the opportunity to grab some rock samples for laboratory analysis. These samples plus any pressure testing or sonic/radar scoping data will be used to update known characteristics of these fields. The only failure, would be to ignore or not bother to collect such data while we are drilling through - it would be like doing nocturnal walks through the lake district, on moonless nights.
Of the 3 targets in the Torok, we will flowtest 2. This does not mean the 3rd will be a fail either (so be prepared). It means in the time we have before the thaw sets in, we will get flows for 2, but remember, we have collected data on all 3. So assuming the data for each shows the DNA is very similar, and the flowtests confirn that 2 of them quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, and smells like a duck, then we can make assumptions about the waterfowl we did not test.
The HRZ data will provide another piece (set) of data, and another brick for the wall.
If this winter campaign is as successful as PMO, BEX, 88e and all LTH's hope, we will have the funding to prove up sone of these "secondary objectives" at a later date although anyone looking to buy our leases on the strength of those primary targets will probably take the lot if the data warrants a few dollars more.

Snow trail is already in place as far as the first lake. The IceRoad Tankers just need to suck out the water and spray a top-coat to upgrade it from trail to road. Meanwhile the "trail blazer" vehicles are probably onto to next stretch (one step ahead of the tankers/bowsers). Maybe a Monday update?

So by refining the data we colllect from each stage, starting from exploration, we hone-in on Prospective, then Contingent, then Verified Reserves. Well, well,well. If this is the middle stage, the we are getting much closer to determining firm valuations. That's going to help.

If we average this sort of increase, compounded daily it will be close to 14% pw. In 4 weeks the ice roads will be well under way and another ffew weeks will see the spud by when I expect well be adding 25% pw, maybe more. We are not hoping to prove commercial success on all 7 targets, just the 2 best prospects, but we should get geological data from the rest, plus a little extra on the hrz. The flow testing of the 2 main targets will run down the clock, but if we do go back to commercialise the well, data from the 6 other zones will probably affect the next drill design.

Would she get planning permission for a Sturgeon wall? Sounds fishy to me.
