Today's RNS again shows how the possible saviour of the company, Neset Kockar, is completely ignored, and only the recapitalisation with Fosun is its official way forward. Massive gap down today on open... I'd stay clear from any trading attempts today personally.

"testing" implies the gas & oil have started flowing and all is set up.

But testing has not started yet, they need to finish installing the equipment, and do everything incl. perforation.

Unless there is evidence to the contrary, your guess is as good anyone's. What we know is that MW is ruthless . You take it from there...

It takes a long time to execute a big trade. And after-hours trades are executed are very bad and unpredictable prices.

Do you honestly think that an II that needs to buy back a large amount of shares (that's how a short is closed) would wait till the last minute and risk exposing itself to a very bad price (after hours executions), or even miss the opportunity to have that trade executed altogether?...

There are no conclusive signs, it's just wishful thinking or (poor) attempts at influencing others.
The only conclusive indicator is this website, or any other site that also reports the official data:
www.shorttracker.co.uk

But even the data reported there has huge limitations:
- the opening/closing of shorts is not always notified quickly.
- any short below 0.5% does not have to be reported, i.e. you could have many shorters (or none) at 0.49%

The report had been out for a while this AM, I think it's impact was felt about 30min ago or so...
