Agreed, I see that motoring above (actually, well above) 1p over the next few days, as the likelihood of a takeover, in a situation where different parties compete, is getting stronger.

Not as such, they essentially repeated stuff already mentioned in previous RNSs - no new market sensitive info as such.

There may be indication of somebody having gathered more than 1% of the shares and yet no disclosure has taken place, even though it should have.

I quite fancy sending a note to the FCA if I find the time this PM.

So unless whomever bought those 26m share offloaded some soon after the buy, we must have a holdings RNS.

Are we satisfying the requirement of a listed company subject to a takeover offer?
(As far as I recall, there was just a mention of interested parties in Colin's relevant RNSs, rather than an official offer - I don't think it brings the same legal requirements, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.)

Folks, it's not because the trading volume is high that somebody is automatically accumulating.

That's good but surprising, as if MMs had decided to let it go up.

That's a very big assumption.
ARSO is not the Slovenian government, it's just a tiny department.

There may be other political pressure, or it may be that the Slovenian government has had no opportunity to be made aware of what Ascent does and ARSO may have run (or "not run" actually) the show unsupervised.

In any case, 14m share is relatively small fry considering the shares in circulation, and the relatively high volume. Whatever dip that may be caused now will probably be short lived.
