Actually, it's looking quite good, there is not much legal substance behind rejecting ANGS request it appears.

Not automatically - sometimes it's better to let people from a similar sector (here: public sector / high civil servants) to talk among each other, they can speak more candidly and can come to an agreement more easily.

A consulate is usually the first point of call for private individuals - if the matter is one of public interest, they can always refer it to the embassy.

So this is not as stupid as it may sound to get in touch with the consulate first.

There are two claims:

2- imminent takeover (by INA?) - unverifiable. Such things are kept closely under wraps normally so, a leak is highly unlikely.

(1) alone is great news as it shows that Ascent is getting heavyweight support from the British government, even if the amount of the support that will be provided turns out to be relatively small in practice.

I am not, especially as my speech (form and substance) is much more different as well as the type of shares I have historically followed as recorded on this website. I am still dubious of you on the other hand, but due to the lack of hard evidence, I will take your word for it.

scott1092 - that was more than a year ago, when things were looking up - sales had started, pressure looked good, and the annoying BS NGO was losing its privileged status.

And Lombard Odier (not henderson anymore) might have already divested everything back then.

I was thinking of buying in the low 0.70s last week myself - I was lucky and no holders should blame themselves, it's a ridiculously low SP for the fundamentals.

I am especially shocked at how low the SP has gone today, and the BoD have my respect for not trying to paint a rosy picture.

Great trading opportunity indeed. It's all about not getting greedy and getting out earlier rather than later...
