He's not that stupid not to call back, just rude IMO.

He's probably way too busy and trying to prioritise his time on what is more likely to bring immediate money. Assuaging a PI, while he probably has nothing to say that is not price sensitive, may not be possible. Just a call back to say "no news I can share, sorry" would be both uncomfortable for him and the PI and be a lose-lose situation.

What was not clever was saying that he'd call back in the first place, he should have said to the Nomad "no non-confidential updates to share, sorry" and left it at that.

I find the need for suspension unlikely, except if it involves a takeover or reverse takeover that would be likely to drive the market wild.

JZ does not look like somebody who is ready to incur a massive loss to buy into something else asap just because he thinks it's a golden ticket - he's not a PI.

He will balance getting Captor Capital out quickly with not losing too much, if anything at all, from the likely sale of its URU stake.

I suspect he will sell at a substantially higher price than the current SP, but it is unlikely to reach the heights that everyone was hoping for.

Actually, yes, for an AIM share with low capitalisation, posters CAN have an influence. I witnessed that with AST over a year ago - a brand new poster appeared and claimed a takeover had been agreed. The SP shot up by more than 10% within minutes, before crashing back down. That poster disappeared unsurprisingly. That happens usually when PIs are particularly on edge about a specific share - but of course such manipulation attempts do not always work.

Even though UKOG has nothing to do with those earthquakes, let’s not try to spin those as positives either. Enduring tremors, however minor and natural, is not pleasant.

It was probably deliberately titled so that passers by just see “EARTHQUAKE” before getting to read that it’s 100% unrelated. We all know it was a display of either ignorance or an attempt to deliberately mislead. Bring on the oil flow!
