If you looked at the value of the trades, the amount of selling, in GBP, has not been much. There is just little activity at present - obviously to change once Nigel’s plans come to fruition. He has about 100 grand of his money invested here.

YA may or may not have sold all its shares now, but there is no legal requirement for it to say what it has done with them.

And TBH, I doubt the selling off into rises is due to YA. Plenty of people have been trading this share due to its superb liquidity.

The attitude to have with AIM and small caps of the main market (e.g. AEX and HNR) is to sell a large part of your holding on the back of any rise (more than just top slicing IMO) as these stocks are mostly dependent on PIs with the attitude of "I want to get rick quick." - I have learnt this the very hard way.

URU will probably pay off, but the prospect has become even more distant with RNS IMO.

In the meantime, I hope this other prospect will pay off for you, but if it is also listed on the AIM or main market small caps, please consider what I've written above...

This petition has been around for a while.

I doubt that it is going to lead to something considered seriously by politicians - it's not a "sexy" topic that attracts hundreds of thousands of votes, unlike security, housing, (un)employment, the NHS, Brexit (remain or leave) etc.

Placed shares don’t need to be flipped. It’s warrants that get flipped into shares. What is likely (though not certain) is that the parties who were allocated those recently placed shares “forward sold” them as part of an arrangement with other IIs, for a fee, before the official admission of those shares on the market. But there would be no announcement if such thing had been done. In any case, the newly placed shares were admitted to the market weeks (IIRC) ago so whomever wanted to sell them off for a quick profit is likely to have done so days ago.

Yes to both questions. The naysayers rely on the fact that the previous flow test (in 2016), while good (can’t recall the exact figure), only lasted a short amount of time. Personally, that risk is relatively low and both based on my business and technical analyses, I have the majority of my trading money here.

Agreed, the same happens for many other shares on websites made to look like they are connected to real local publications (but their names are also completely made up too).

bladehater - If I understood the last RNS correctly, that change of status allows UKOG to get a controlling stake in specific fields, vs owning only minority stakes.

In effect, I take it as a "license" to own most of the rights in a field.

RNSs coming does NOT mean there is an RNS coming tomorrow or in the next few days.
