If the pump will indeed run continuously throughout the BH weekend, I suspect that we will get an RNS announcing some of preliminary results soon after - giving it one day for the nomad to check the contents of the RNS, I'd say first thing Wednesday.

That RNS felt a bit like a "cleaning house" message, particularly in relation to Lithium.

Otherwise, it mentions that more work will be done to reinforce the confirmation and scale of the resource. Anyone who hoped a sale next month is likely to be disappointed it seems.

Furthermore, financial qualifications are about valuing companies, not determining the direction of the share price in the short term - the latter is the realm of technical analysis which is a different type of skill and does not have the same level of respect.

The MM's drop the price for a measly sell, then allow a 1-2m share buy to take place at a barely-higher SP straight on the back of that small sell.

Unfortunately, no, that logic does not apply.

Market makers are intermediaries that are contractually forced to buy (and sell) shares, whether they want to have them or not - but they set the price.

That is much more likely to be a buy if you compare the SP of the transactions just before and just after.

It means nothing. Anyone can buy or sell a single share to exploit some people's belief that it has a secret meaning (allegedly, that an RNS is coming) and convince them to buy.

Once every now and then, when PIs are particularly on edge, that works and it triggers a rise of a few % before it crashes again as profits are taken. But most of the time, it makes no difference to the SP.

Impossible to know. If that deal is indeed announced, we still have no idea of what MFDevCo's share of the pie will be - and NUOG only owns half of MFDevCo.

For reference (even thought it's a very different type of revenue), the promised farm-out deal turned out to be largely a disappointment and did not make the SP rocket like we all (incl. me) had hoped.

So we could speak of many multiples (Seadog suggested 28p a while back) or maybe just a few %.
Or maybe it could spike.
Or may it could open at multiples straight away and stay at that plateau.

We just cannot reasonably predict or estimate what the SP will be.
