Goddam internet. Been without it all day. Just got it back. Missed topping up SDS'S two winners today to recoup some of the past 18 consecutive losers. Still had £10 wins on each placed last night. Also missed an 8/1 winner at Lingfield. Legal Shark trained by Sir Mark Prescott. Came across him this morning but couldn't get access to the bxxxxy internet. Harry do you know Prescott? Check him out, he's having a blinder of a season.

There is no one to beat Harry's inside knowledge of this game. 12/1 8/1 and 2/1 from his tip off on Linda Perratt did all her runners at £10 win each even the 250/1 so nice little earner . Thanks Harry. Eases the pain I'm feeling from SDS's losing streak.

Harry, SDS. After a cracking start things went horribly wrong in last couple of days. He now has 12 consecutive races without a win but Longside at 9/1 which was beaten by a nose today could have made a big difference. In any event I make it 5.25 points profit on the week on level stakes. If adopting quit on first day if reached 7 points profit (one for each days racing) then 18 points profit. If using my betting strategy then 28.5 points profit less 10 points stop loss crystalized and presently carrying a loss to be recovered of 7.49 points. if not recovered on next bet then net profit of 11 points on the week. If next bet wins then net profit will be 18.5 points. I missed 2 days of bets due to work and 3 winners otherwise all the above would be enhanced by 11.75 points profits. At level stakes, still in profit, but the losers especially the bad last 2 days do eat into profits unless recovery of lost bets subject to stop loss is built into stakes wagered. Makes a big difference. Full recovery of all losing bets can be factored in thus guaranteeing all profit and no losses but unless one is extremely rich with an enormous bank it is not recommended as one could hit a losing streak accompanied by low odds. How did you fare, did you see it through to the bitter end? I see there was a conflict of interest today but both lost in the end, your info 2nd and sds 3rd.

Bolshoi, that's not called for. Everyone has losing streaks and after all Harry had a great start to the week he gave us all a 22/1 winner followed by a 9/2 and 2 2nds On level stakes that'a a 12.5 points profit for the week. If you are talking only about the jockey’s agent they gave us 4 winners out of 16 with 5 2nds. Admittedly that’s a net loss of 2.5 points on the week but I believe they started off the previous week with 3 out of 4 winners. As for the 5* nap coming last something must have gone wrong and in any event when beaten they are eased off and often come last or thereabouts. As a race horse owner I’m sure Harry can explain orders given to jockeys if the horse is beaten.

Now here's a funny thing. I placed a £10 win bet on oregon gift leic 15.00 at 13/2 yesterday. The cash out value is £14.85 on betfair a 48.5% profit.I'd be more than happy with that on my shares. I have just backed Harry's tip in the same race. Could this be a way of making risk free investments by cashing in now for guaranteed profit. If it was a £1000 bet that's £485. What would you do bird in hand or wait for £7,500 or nothing?

royjohn point taken about track record. I am building it up gradually from available material and of course my betting account with betfair. Trouble is Sporting Life only keep a record of Jockeys for the past 30 days but their info on horses goes back years but then again there are not so many entries for horses. Anyone know where I can source Jockey's records for a whole season? one of Harry's yankee for today includes Master of Finance which is SDS's second race at Haydock. I got 10/1 yesterday. Not very hopeful for the rest of sds's rides but he invariably gets a least 1 winner per meeting. The pairing of SDS with M Johnson has produced some good winners this past month including a 12/1 on the 4 July.. Knigelk I know what you mean about spreadsheets and it does kinda take the fun out of betting.

Got vat jobs out and filed this afternoon so back to the gee gees and just in time. SDS continued his winning ways so recouped past 2 losers when I stopped betting and got 4/1 on Nancy from Nairobi before late money made it 2/1 joint fav with Harry’s Woodcraft. Just goes to show there is no such thing as a sure thing as there may always be another who is considered the same. Personally I would have gone with Woodcraft but I stuck to my system in this instance. Kinigelk my strategy and staking plan is not rocket science and so far cannot guarantee 100% no losses but taken to the nth yes it would. The main aim as with the stock market is to limit losses. With this, one could theoretically cut out all losses if one had a large enough bank. It is not doubling up which is a recipe for disaster. I am now applying it to other Jockeys and will monitor the situation. I am presently looking at T Eaves who has had some spectacular wins in the last month, two 16/1’s, 14/1 and 33/1, together with some nice 7 and 8/1s etc. He did have a bad run of 28 races which was brought to an and with a winner but only at 2/1 but shortly after a 16/1,13/2 , 5/1 and another 16/1. I am surprised no one apart from Harry has shown an interest.

correction I mention 36 points profit on first day it should of course have read £36 ( based on 18 points at £2 a point).. Profit seeker's comments are not really called for as everyone has losing streaks but with a proper plan and staking strategy these can be managed and limited. As far I can remember Agent's jockey has produced quite a number of winners, so thank you Harry for taking the time for passing on the info. GLA on today's racing

Good morning Harry. How is your SDS going? Have not bet for a couple of days as busy with work and my other half is giving me grief for not shifting it and either devoting too much time to blogging, betting or stocks and shares despite the income it produces. By my rough reckoning you should still be ahead the 36 points made on the first day of your foray into following SDS. If one tweaks the strategy and one should always be prepared to do so if one is ahead and stop at winner at each meeting, (he does tend to get at least one but not always) and also dependent on the odd, especially if one is sticking to level stakes, as you are, then you would be 14 points ahead or £28 so far this week instead of 18 or £36 using your £2 a point and level stakes. The difference being missing out on the 16/1 but those do not happen very often. Using my strategy of recouping previous losses with next bet at no real extra cost WITH A STOP LOSS BUILT IN one would be ahead 28 points or £56 instead, with at present 1 point or £2 to recover on the next bet.What do you think?

Good morning Harry, Been busy with work just seen the results. Thank you so much for sending the statistics on SDS. Am now following him using my strategy, not level stakes as recouping losing bets with stop loss of £100 restart again.Stakes are level £10 win every race with increment included to recover previous losing bet using current odds to calculate the increment. Got a bit scary last week with a losing run but has come good most losses recovered plus profits on the winners. He didn't have such a bad week. results below. Haven't had time to check but it seems I missed out on your jockeys agent today. Harry yes at those odds a place is worth it that's why I did da souza's 25/1 third ew at Goodwood despite all his horses at those odds had not even been placed since 25 June, 24 in total thats 48 points lost so still in loss 4 points even if yesterdays had been win only but many more doing it ew. but if all bets had been done 2 points to win the loss would only be 4 points. It only needs one more horse to win at those odds and one would be in profit and some have been at 40 and 60/1. The very next race his mount was 40/1 but it lost not even a place, but as expected. It only needs a couple of wins in say 40 selections to maybe stay ahead unless of course one has inside info in which case even then its probably best to do win only because the number of losing bets will hopefully be dramatically reduced. eg 4 tips at 20/1 3 get placed but 1 wins. at 2 points win only thats 34 points net profit compared to 29 doing all ew.If only one winner and no places then the difference is 34 points to 3 points at 1/5th. The converse is if no winners but all four or just one get payable places at 1/5th odds then it swings in favour of ew

correction should read winning placed only ew bets not winning ew's.If Althaross had only been placed net point profit would have been 4.5 which is as good as a 9/2 winner but how many ew place only winners at this level do you get? I would guess the majority only cover the win side of the bet at best maybe produce the occasional 1 point profit but what about the 2 points losers where they don't even get a place. Long term I would say they are probable losers overall. Does anyone keep a record?

PS de SOUZA had another winner at Ling last night. I got 5/4 from the day before but a lot of money must have been placed just before the off as it went from 5/4 to evens and then 8/13 quite rapidly. he really is having a good season. sod's law again as you know I tend to shy away from multiples but used a £14.99 free bet on betfair for a patent on Harry's new red hot source of tips after a great start and what happens! On form they looked good as well. QUESTION Has anyone kept a record of not doing each way and just going for a win to see if it pays off in the long run? I did an exercise years back and concluded it was better to place 2 points win rather than spread it 1 point ew e.g. take harry's Altharoos I got 16/1 when I placed the bet but betfair paid 23/1 including stake £29.50 but if a win only would have paid £46 and 44 points profit that's 16.5 points extra to cover any net points profits from winning ews's bt how many 2 points ew losers do you have? Have only started doing ew again because Harry says the professionals do that which has to be respected. Perhaps 12/1 and over may be worth ew instead of from 5/1?

Acker did not spot balance sheet I presume it won at a good price. I don't back all fun names and don't usually follow them up if they win for me. The ONE EXCEPTION WAS KRIS, a terrific horse but did not always back it when odds on.I very rarely find very long odds horses and then all of a sudden three come along at once like London buses, recent fun bets Daizy 18/1, Peak Hill 50/1 and now today Harry's 22/1.

WOW WEE Harry your best yet 23/1 fantastic end of day. My man de SOUSA came good with a good priced winner his last ride before off to Lingfield after a 25/1third too.
