I bought ANTO and sold yesterday. No immediate good news from US/China and the Dollar still looking bullish means I think we'll see a little retreat early next week.

No problems if I'm wrong and good luck to all.

I thought it was going to be barnstormer but Cu down and $ uo.

ANTO meanwhile seems invulnerable.

Fingers crossed. Kaz just seems to be looking for any reason to suppress itself at the moment

Morning Causal. This bloody share should go up soon. We need the GBP to drop a bit. Brexit is being a bit of a pain in the arse

In at 650 and didn't join up the dot re world events.

Uncertainty on the FTSE which is being kicked about by the £.

Over the last couple of weeks I'd say the FTSE and S&P have had far more effect on the price than Cu

If Trump and China can reach some kind of impasse I think we'll be tickling 900p in no time.

Real demand is growing and the downtrend is purely due to a talk of a trade war nobody wants.

Much as I can appreciate your rationale the pattern to me looks like this drops again...maybe not to the 540's (I think Oil will decide that).

Just to qualify my expertise he I recently sold at 600 and got into ANTO thinking copper had bottomed out!

Still....it's an interesting share this.

Fair play. It's the emotion that can wear one down. If you've found a way to take that out and make money then all power to you. That said you'll understand that anyone discussing the merits of a given action in isolation without understanding your long term policy may find your decisions questionable - which should be conveyed politely of course.

This feels peaky to me. Theres no reason it should keep rising (price of copper, Chinese economy, general uncertainty)

Thats an interesting system and no dafter than a lot I've heard! Do you always buy at a set point, eg end of the month?

If you call that a big pull back this isn't the share for you! ;-) Just a bit of turbulence.

Acacia Mining (Gold) Vedanta seems to be like a nervous sibling to Anglo American, Fresnillo etc.... takes more to get it moving. But if you have a disciplined attitude it could be relatively straightforward to trade it's highs and lows (I know. Famous last words)

Sold out at 779 and moved to ACAA (it's volatility seems to work on a shorter scale) I could watch my money drop all day.
