Poland is doing great, little crime, no rape gangs., The economy is great and my kids love it here. The main thing my kids are very safe.

I wont move back to the UK - i was in Middlesbrough in February and its worse than Kabul. Its always been bad but what it is now is not recognizable and we even left 3 days earlier because it just isn't safe and my family hated the trip. I will visit until my folks pass away and then that will be me never setting foot in the UK again. Its not worth it, if i have to spend 3-4k on a holiday i will go somewhere nice instead.

Well Rob you thickbarstool. Overnight oil went up 25%, dollar was gaining. But then this news on the G7 both started to pull back. So yeah i imagine if they do flood the market with oil, both the oil price and dollar strength will reduce. Then normality will resume in the markets, albeit with an elevated price for oil as i doubt it will fall back to where it was.

Like anything, traders push the price up and once they realise more oil is coming they will move on.

Just from the rumour that the G7 will release Oil. Let's see how it looks after the call in Mew York later on. If they decide to flood the market with oil then surely that will stabilise the market. Therefore oil will drop and so will the dollar.

Yeah well the current issue for me is the price of oil.

The G7 will meet today to discuss the plan and I read they may release 400 million barrels from the strategic fund. That should drop the price of oil massively.

With Musk i can separate the politics from his business sense.

Everyone also thinks he is some greedy guy sat wanting to just make more and more money but actually he cares for improving the world - with innovation. I watched a video where a reported asked him why he thought Tesla would succeed. He said he didnt. He actually thought he would proceed the design the best he could just to get it closer to THE real thing. And then another company would take over from tesla and finish what he started. The world needs innovation.

Regarding Element - i totally respect his mining / metals knowledge. There are a few very good and knowledge posters who have made investing in GGP easy for me and really i owe them guys beers one day. Too often we get caught up in the market noise day to day but the info these guys share contains expert level detail which stops a lot of panic day to day. Hence a difference of opinion isn't a reason to fall out. I owe Element and a fair few other guys here a lot of beers D:)

quickwin08 - well tesla is a green energy company and was really the first successful ev company - at scale. the boring company has made it much more efficient with less cost to build tunnels, then the space companies looking at some futuristic ****, neurolink - which is progressing in health care.

Speedy - you can indeed. Trust me its going to be scary considering the governments for now dont want to regulate things properly. Its a bit like watching terminator and then doing exactly the same thing but expecting different results.

Basically where AI can think on its own and behave like a human without instruction. No one knows for certain when this will happen - but this is what the goal is. Elon Musk reckons this isnt far away and given his business achievements i am inclined to listen. He actually thinks by 2030 - AI will be smarter than all humans combined. He is a dreamer and with guys like him he does push to improve the world.

The good news, he thinks the main limitation for now is data center and energy capacity.
