Gold wont go high because of USA debt. Japan's debt to GDP is 263%. China probably the same if not higher when you look at the fact they hide debt one level below the government ie local municipalities.

Most use AI to generate the reports without it actually analysing the data. The best source of info is RNS. The financial reports and updates are the number 1 source. Revenue / profit and most Importantly cash. Tied together with things like gold prices / world politics in the news and you can get a rough idea what's good and what's not. After 12 months here we will get a good view of the company performance, can then work out the industry average PE and can get to a rough idea where we can end up. It may not take that long but I'm not I'm too much of a rush.

Everything else is just someone else view.

Is this due to the US revaluing it's gold pile? If so they I feel that people will be a let down. It's purely a balance sheet thing. I don't see gold been revalued due to this.

I'm a holder. I don't need to say how many shares. Why would I? I have enough invested that if this multi bags I will be setting myself up for am early retirement. If it goes down to 0 I will be sad for a few days but won't be homeless or jumping off a roof.

I also don't think you are good at this game. I beat the S and P 500 3 out of the last 4 years. The house doesn't always win. It does if you trade but if you buy and hold decent companies, read the news, understand the financials, keep informed and keep a degree of patience then any average jo can win. Agree Trippy. I really don't get the fascination with the number of shares. Market cap is the metric which will determine if we are over or under vauled in the markets eyes. I never seen a analyst say oh we best sell as they have too many shares. Its crazy talk.

How we get to the market doesn't matter except to those who have been diluted. I was but took part in the placing so it actually had minimal impact. I did sell those shares tbf but then I have a wedding and honeymoon to pay for soon D:)

You are an idiot. If your saying you think the marketcap is too high ok. But that's not related to the amount of shares in the way you think it is. If people don't buy shares in a company because they have too many shares then simply stupid. Price / market cap is the important point. GGP could consolidate the shares but the Market Cap will remain the same.

I can see how GGP MARKET CAP can be over valued. Given the assets, cashflow and importantly the expansion of resource count. Its was 1 billion currently which is actually peanuts these days

Every single trade is a buy and sale. Share volume doesn't impact price here. Maybe if the price was 100 quid a share then it will impact volume as people may not want to pay so much for 1 share.

I just think the price going up down, up down is the market making money in both directions. I think I see the pattern so sat waiting for cash if it goes where I suspect it will go.

speedy we do have different views. the fix isn't changing the model. we will have the same problems as the root causes are not addressed. governments ******* money up the wall will continue regardless of model. that's what needs to be fixed. that can be fixed in the current model not going back 50 years. a team of smart people could fix the uk finances in 1 month. the issue is that's delayed until labour are voted out as they don't get it

They key thing stated mind is the fact we should all want each to make money in this game. Fully agree. The main issue, new names appear, no research amd straight away they look to be trying to harm people but it could be our views. It may not be true so maybe we all give people a chance here. If I give a toss about GBP I would invest there so jog on. I won't change an investment because a random guy in a forum told me a PAST looking chart tells them something. I may be stupid, but not stupid.

GGP is in a much better place. Gold production means revenue / profit and not speculation. Pretty sure the next 6 months will be transformational for the company.
