mazik, just read the RNS. Pretty much in line with last weeks update. Do take your point though. However, me included the focus has been on the inexplicable fall in the sp. Not sure if todays reversal is in response to the financials or coincidental but both are favourable. May get some PR coverage over the weekend and hope the 'games' at a thing of the past now. The focus should be on the fundamentals and JV's with other bios.

Parked up my profits here from IMM last month for a good yielding divi stock. Didn't expect much movement and tbh couldn't care with a 7% yield. How wrong was I. Slowly plodding on upwards. Despite all the negativity BP is turning a corner. The ' Steve Davis' of the FTSE 100

Prefer to see what the sp is like at the end of the next month.. When we see the back of the day traders caught up the sp will start to reflect some value

marine, looks like many have been watching on the sidelines and now decided to make a move. The manipulation seems to have caught the MMs who don't know how to play it. Have they got the shares to sell?

Babs2. You scared? lol... your trading strategy and this prevented you buying more? When those got spiked in the 20s and moved on this will recover. There has been a reason for this manipulation, despite the denials. Pi always playing catch up.

I would have happily snapped up a few at 17p.. they wanted the pi's shares. Only 30% in free float.. remember this has been 10x the current sp without any significant change of the fundamentals

Only guys losing money are the pi's. Fear has caused many to sell, the MC was approaching a parity with the cash in the bank. Crazy ............

When it does it should be quite quick. No one selling at a profit. Sentiment changes rapidly. Spread is stifling the volume imo

In the last week approx. 10k in value has wiped a couple of million off the sp. Not for the faint hearted. Will buy on the way back up. Free ride from some of my profit in IMM but not happy about the lack of support from the BoD. Looking at the size of trades it is the pi getting shafted on the lack of information. Maybe a non disclosure clause has been attached to any discussions, this is the only logical conclusion I have come to. The only other is a degree of dishonesty by others to gain a pecuniary advantage.

Have to admit he is such a 'wild cannon' on his views and reactions. Almost a child like personality when a more 'statesman like' pragmatic view would be a better approach. Economists and analysts talk about projected PoO but don't take into account the affect that Trump may have on the markets. Since the guy got elected I have slowly reduced my investments in favour of cash but the markets continue to rise. From memory we invested in BP at the same time at 480 and have to say, so far so good.

billy, let him keep talking. The sp continues to strengthen. Thought there would be a little resistance at 510 but has breezed past it. Not going to jinx the current trend but all looking good as we approach ex div and the agm.

How do you know that? The opposite could be true. Free float could be increasing. Without any holdings news it is pure speculation.

I don't think so drop. I think investors are frustrated with the feeling that the sp is being controlled. The spread is putting off further interest (for now). Hoping the new guy a the helm can get some PR and direction going. Any rise here should be swift.

Happy to sit back. Fun and games and don't really see the sp reflecting the fundamentals. Any sellers in the last few weeks have probably been at a loss leaving a more resolute investor. Change of sentiment will see a swift rise towards some value.

drop it only took me a decade to get there. If it takes the same time here to get above 100p then it will probably be left in my estate. :)

You never know. I was loading up in IMM in the teens and 20s. Off loaded the majority between 160 and 180. This sector is all about patience. Dull as that may be, the return potential more than make up for it.

Maybe so, but it has to be announced at some point. You could argue the opposite and say the delay caused the sp drop. No doubt the significant shareholders knew in advance.

Would not surprise me that the new CEO will want to impress the institutions now. No doubt PR will be stepped up with regular updates. Time will tell of course but it seems everything is on the table now. Interesting to see the trades later today when the institutions have fully digested the news.
