Maybe the brokers have a vested interest in their forecasts. Looks like the ii's have managed to dump their shares at the expense of the pi I noticed a late reported trade yesterday that was probably a sell at the time., The trend will reverse on solid news and not speculation.

Daytrade I have promised the current Mrs leas that she can spend any profits made at BHS, C&A or Woolworths. Anything left over she can return to me for a rainy day. I will of course allow a little spending at Ann Summers on dividend payment day. :)

Not forgetting any close family members that also have a CGT allowance....

Personally I would be happy for them to continue being a low cost PGM producer that paya dividend at a percentage above UK interest rates. Just suits my financial position. There does seem a reluctance by the BoD's to do that as they may see a future reason to keep a healthy bank balance but I cannot see any buyout on the horizon. I agree with ragnar that foreign interest is almost non existent due to the political environment. The current MC makes that risk more than acceptable. Any wage rises should be offset with a weaker Rand. Certainly a lot more positives than negatives.

Guys,a poor worded RNS. Been on my watch list now for many months. Last para is a bit concerning. However, I think the sp more than reflects the negative tone of it. An oil company that is actually producing and self funding in development. Oil likely to remain high in comparison to recent years. Of course there are always risks associated with these type of companies but sentiment soon changes and the current price could be a great buying opportunity. If I was holding and bought above the current sp then I would be frustrated but unless you need to free up cash now then I can see a good return for the patient investor.

Maybe TM is not used to being a CEO of a mining company with money in the bank. He knows how difficult it is to ask shareholders for money when a minnow is in development. Must be a lot easier to accept your 5000000 salary and keep that healthy sum tucked away just in case. Hadn't thought about that profit being held in ZAR before. Shows how dumb I am. Oh well capital growth from the sp is better than nothing and my average is pretty good... Nice to be considering dividends on an AIM listed company rather than rights issues.

Hi ragnar Still sitting on a 4.5p per share profit and bought on the expectation of growing revenue and a reasonable dividend. Ironically I made more money from the IRON spinoff a few years ago. My portfolio is made up of high yielding companies which affords me the luxury of not having to trade anymore and ignore the day to day sp movements. I have been considering flipping here in favour of MPE but decided against it as the Rand weakens. I'll see what the results bring and decide then. Thank you for you views and broker insight. 26,000 shares bought in May. Cost to company of about 3k sterling or about 4oz of Pt. I understand the need to buy them but do not understand why the company cannot reinstate the dividend policy. The likelihood is the number that they can purchase each month going forward is going to decrease so I cannot understand why they cannot make an announcement. Do they have other plans for the cash in the bank? Companies are quick to ask shareholders for funds but struggle to hand it back when making a profit.

If a company has a MC of 1 million with 1 million shares in circulation then each share is worth 1 pound. If 100,000 are removed then the remaining shares are worth 111p. The fundamentals have changed. What is complicated?

Very little buying pressure seems to increase Ask. Not much liquidity. Held off buying today and will probably regret it.

A1. Cannot compare like for like with buybacks. For example BP has a large number of shareholders that do not take the dividend in cash but additional shares. Over a period of time this dilution gets expensive to administer so the company reduces the number in circulation saving the company the expense of managing shares that carry voting rights. If you look at VEC they commenced a share buyback programme and the sp fell as their brokers were tasked to buy the shares as cheaply as possible. Their MC reduced so much that they were or close to be booted out of the FTSE250. MPE are another company buying shares in order to put themselves in a stronger position should another takeover attempt occur. Not sure if the current strategy suits the short term investor who would prefer a higher yield but should suit the investor taking a long term view. Good luck to all investors here.

Nonplus. Totally agree. I did say at the start of the recruitment process that getting the vetting process right was pivotal to the whole trial, especially with the great safety record. Mauritius at the time came from nowhere and have to say probably enabled the p3 trial to be brought forward by many months. The Mauritius patients no doubt distorted the results having access to a level of care that they had never had before.

Look at the guys posting history. Did the same on the AERO bb. last Friday. p and d.....

Maybe news coming but looking at last weeks reported trades it would appear that the seller and the clear overhang has gone. Full ask being paid on every buy transaction. This could get very interesting as the day progresses. About time too.

How on earth someone can dismiss or not know how the P3 trial was evaluated and invest is beyond me. Lupus sufferers are assessed on the SLEDAI score, the trial aimed to reduce that number by at least 4. All those patients taking Lupuzor could have seen a significant improvement (own feeling of well being) but the medics may not have been able to evaluate it with a degree of certainty. Chancer, I would look at a 12 month Voting Rights statement and compare it with the most recent. That would give you a good guesstimate.

NKOTBUK, I was buying IMM at sub 20 3 years ago and selling at 177. Invested in IMM for probably more number of years than you have been here in weeks. I did my research which allowed me to buy my free mining and oil 'production' companies that pay a dividend. If you read my post with a bit of intelligence rather than the anger of being locked in then you would see that there is a possibility of FDA reviewing the results as some failed P3 trial get approval.

Looking like the overhang has gone now. Onwards and upwards. Tomorrow may present a good opportunity to average down :)

Will be kicking myself for not averaging down with this one. 23p avg. Has the last CEO dumped all her shares now? Or an announcement of a new CEO about to be made. Still a large spread that needs to close.....
